We sort of agreed taking bits off atoms in the air wasn't a good idea and the storage theory was lacking.

a small replicator would produce alot of radiation but people could be able to handle it and if you made a whole ship it would be like a nuclear holocoust

couldn't they use that as a weapon then?

It would be far easier to use an A-bomb though, wouldn't it.

Because the Breen or Borg wouldn't give secrets to the federation

Yeah, the Federation is too peaceful to steal tech from defeated enemies. Though the Voyager got some Borg tech in order to build that torpedo that destroyed the Species 8472 ships... They also built transphasic torpedoes from Borg tech, I think. And I'm pretty sure that the deutronic armor (or whatever it was called) used on the Defiant and Voyager was gotten from Borg tech.

no, it wouldn't. just a few Borg cubes could wipe out the whole federation.

then the producers wouldn't have a next series to do. And I think seven of nine is supposed to have basically shown that the Federation can't lose
