i have control of the rom ship, but the romulans are trying to break into the bridge and i estimate they will succeed in 20 minutes. Beam me aboard so we can get out of here; its not a trap, i would rather phaser myself then act as bait for romulans.

Commander Borrego and a private, where heading towards a elevator at maximum run... He pushed the elevator button, but the button only said:
"This system is inoperative... please try other elevator..."
"Came..." Said I to the private, while we where entering in a small hole nearby the elevator, heading for the emergency elevator...
3 minutes and 55 seconds till that blown up...

We were at 100 meters of the hangar bay, and the bomb still had 55 seconds...
"Captain, here is commander Borrego... redirect all power to back shields! We're going to have a big bum right behind our buts!"
50 seconds...

-V- commander Johnson, if i remember correctly from starfleet academy, all romulan ships have an escape pod leaving directly out of the rear of the bridge. i suggest you activate the self-destruct and get the hell out of there -V-

-V-commander Borrego, shields aren't online yet, but anti-EMP systems and warp systems work... as soon as the bay doors are open, i suggest throwing it out and bracing for instant warp!-V-

"Ok!" said I as we entered in the Hangar bay... "Everyone get cover!"
They were running to the bay doors... when they arrived nearby, they launched the bag into space...
"You get cover!" Said I "Command...you have 15 seconds to warp out of here!" The bag was floating between the warp nacelles of the ship...

*the Darkwing jumped into warp the bomb was outside, letting it explode in open empty space, then warps out and waits at the designated coordinates for the escape pod*

-V- damage to systems negligible. anti-EMP systems worked right. i would highly suggest taking the moment of rest now to repair the phasers outside -V-

"Seems a women, sir... The sound comes from that division" Said the sargeant.
In the division next to that room, there was a women under a bookshelf, taken down by starship disrupter fire, when the Romulans ambushed the Darkwing... She was under that thing for almost 8 hours...

All right Terra, things should be quite around here for a while. If you don't here from us in a week, then commence chain of command and continue missions of the Darkwing.

All right people, let's go!

*Rivers and his team boarded the unmarked custom built shuttlecraft. Terra stood in the hanger bay, watching as the shuttle departed*

Set a course for Alpha Centauri. They may be federation, but I have a few black market friends. We should be able to get the parts from there.

*The shuttle warped out, as Darkwing went into hiding.*

"okay people... now we've got some time to fix the phasers. currently they're top priority. the phaser power grid has been shut down, we're safe to work outside now. you know what to do, remove all rubble and mark damaged phaser units."
*Mallor as acting petty officer and some other ensigns got outside of the ship and started working on the phaser strip.*

*he and another ensign were working on removing the rubble around one unit when it discharged. the other ensign got hit full in the face with it, and Mallor's suit nearly got teared open by debris.*
"sh... that nearly went wrong."
-V-Mallor to terra. we've got a small problem. a remaining charge from a phaser killed one ensign. his name is ...-V-
*he tried to find the guy's nameplate but couldn't find it.*
-V-... oh. he's beyond recognition. shall i bring him in or let him float here?-V-

Terra looked over the bridge of the Darkwing, and wondered when it would be safe to contact Vixeria.

"Bridge, status report on the systems"

Ensign: We are good to go in all systems. I am picking up ships warping in to this area.

"Why are they here? I told them to wait till I contacted them." Terra muttered under her breath

Ensign: What are your orders?

"Don't fire, we still have people on the outside. Let's wait and see what these ships do."

-V-hey everyone, get in! and get that dead guy in another airlock, because he's gonna make a huge mess!-V-
*everyone got inside after getting the dead guy in the other, and watching through the window that separated them they saw the ice that had covered his wounds melting because the warming up of the room. soon it gave way, and the blood exploded out of the gaping holes into the not yet fully compressed airlock. one ensign fainted.*
-V- oy, get up you! i didn't give you permission to faint!-V-

*soon the airlock was fully compressed, and Mallor stepped out and undid his helmet.*
"ah, fresh air. you, clean up the mess next door, will ya? i've got a report to make."
*the ensign who fainted sputtered, but after a threatening look and some 'persuasive' talk from Mallor's side he complied*
"do it. you won't see the blood on your red suit anyway."

*Mallor got out of this suit completely when he noticed a small bleeding scratch on his arm. upon closer inspection he noticed a hole in his suit leading in from one side and coming out on the other he handed it over to the responsible man for the suits.*
"hey, you should check this one, it has a hole in it."
"what? you have suffered from major acute local decompression! you should go see the medical!"
"no, it's nothing, see?"
"what the... nothing indeed, how can that happen?"
*the man inspected the suit closely agan*
"hmmpf. i must be invulnerable then. well, i've got stuff to do."

*Mallor walked to terra's room and reported.*
"we didn't do everything, but we've been able to get 50% of the phasers operational again. we've got full torpedo capacity. weapons power grid has been restored again. during the repairs we've lost one crewmember, he or she is beyond recognition."

"Yup... we only got half of the phaser array... but I think I can overpower them to match the full phaser availability... we might loose the weapons grid definitively, but we might get off this problem quickly..."

"i'm gonna take a shower. see ya"
*he walks to his room, puts his working gear aside and prepares for a shower. he turns it to completely cold, and after some time he gets out. he puts on his casual gear and grabs his guitar. he plays some old melodies from past centuries, including Metallica and Iron Maiden. right in the middle of a solo a beep sounds and the doors slides open*
"damn, what now? i was right in the middle of a solo!?"

Be careful, the federation prides itself on a perfectly peaceful society, they don't tend to realize criminals still run these back alleyways. That's why we do what we do, we don't have to abide by those rules!

*Rivers pulled out a customized communicator, and tuned into a secret channel*

Commander Borrego had a flashback from when he was aboard the Sovereign... There was a skirmish between the Federation and the Cardasians... The Sovereign was surrounded by nine Cardasian battlecruisers, fighting an unfair fight, when the Weapons console blowed up killing Commander Frederic, one of his best friends in Starfleet... it was one... Suddenly, with weapons offline and shields almost vanishing, a starfleet battle group appeared, forcing the Cardasians to run... and saving the Sovereign...

"but why are you hiding in here?"
"none of your business, nosey ensign! you want to get reported?"
"ehm, no, okay sir."

*Mallor checks if the ensign is gone and then turns back*
"now, what were we talking about?"
