The Adventure Starts Here... (Episode 1)

(actually, it might be nice to get a Mission 2, for instance: I came back from vacation, but who wants to read through 5 pages when you don’t get the time. If not it’s ok, I’ll just watch for a while and try to fit some posts in)

this isn't like the other rpgs. this isn't mission based, more episode based. if we weave it into a cool cliffhanger, then I'll lock it and move to episode two and so on.

*Rivers Terra and Mallor casually walked down the hall. At first they were silent, and Rivers could sense a bit of anxiety from the two of them. He let the effect soak in a short while, before starting*

I understand this will not happen again. If we break the chain of command, then we become flawed, and ineffective.

*Rivers waited a bit before continuing*

We have a new mission, and time is of the essence, as is secrecy. The cardassians have a dominion batlleship. The Feds don't know yet, but they will soon, most likely sometime in the next two weeks. They're modifying the ship, to what extent, I am uncertain. All I know is this ship is close to completion, and if completed, would be very dangerous to galactic peace. I also have another mission, one that only us three may know about...

It's a personal one, that's why the rest can't know about it. There's an old friend of mine, his son was kidnapped during the dominion war. When we go in to take the dominion battleship, you two and I will will have a detour, and try to rescue his son. I will explain further after the mission briefing.

at this very moment, Dai Jones stepped one pace forward from his position and emitted one single, dry cough.

(I'm either Dai Jones or Llewelyn ap Gruffydd Fychan. Since nobody said which they'd prefer I thought I'd be the one that was easier for you to spell.

( I was Dai Jones in my last ship RPG, because noone could remember/spell Llewelyn ap Gruffydd Fychan. But if you prefer it to Dai Jones..)

oh yeah, i remember

*Rivers looked at Dai and cocked an eyeborw*
And you are....?

*Mallor nudged rivers nad whispered in his ear "He's an ensign, he's usually stuck in a jeffries tube in engineering*

Ah, so.... any command experience Dai?

"Sorry, sir. I was merely coughing."

*Rivers Mallor and Terra re-entered the bridge, some of the crew looked up, but when they saw that nothing was wrong with Terra and Mallor, they quickly resumed their work. Rivers sat in his chair and looked out of the viewscreen. Something didn't feel right.*
