*The Admiral stood gazing out at the long shadows that the suns were casting as they set in the distance. A young officer approached him*

Officer: Sir, an unknown as just appeared on the time map, something we didn't see

*The Admiral raised an eyebrow*

Admiral: Go on

Officer: A fleet of what we estimate to be fifteen thousand vessels has broken the time barrier, they're attacking Vixeria in the past

Admiral: Old or new Vixeria?

Officer: The new one. The one that was Rivers' mission

Admiral: This could be used to our advantage, perhaps we can manipulate the timeline, instead of wasting our own precious resources on this never ending war. Has Rivers made contact with the fleet?

Officer: That's just it sir, I don't think Rivers is on our side anymore

Admiral: What

Officer: He's been protecting the Vixens, he's fighting alongside of Terra, if our readings are correct, they're almost out of power

*The Admiral briskly walked off. He entered the command center*

Admiral: Get Terra up on our screens now!

*Terra appeared on a holographic screen*

Terra: What do you want? This is your doing, isn't it?

Admiral: I gave you an opportunity to join us, to save your people

Terra: If we surrendered our entire forces to you!

Admiral: Compromises need to be made. But to answer your question, this wasn't us, but the result will be the same. You will face destruction, we will win, it is only inevitable.

Terra: I know about your secret weapon

Admiral: What, Rivers? We've given up on him, it's over!

*The hologram disappeared. The Admiral paced the room for a moment, then went over to the comm*

Admiral: I want agent 12-92-01 to report to the CNC stat

Officer: Agent 12-92-01 sir? Isn't that a little drastic?

Admiral: Rivers trained him, he is the best tool to use for his destruction

Terra was in a rage.. The Admiral was being dodgy and hiding something.. Her warrior instinct told her that he was going to try sometihng, and soon.. The rest of the fleet had been able to fight off the attack and they were getting ready to fire the torpedo. Terra told helm to scan the Darkwing for lifesigns and was relieved that they found everyone still alive..
"Helm, Send a squad of trackers to the ship to let them know we will be beaming everyone on board.. And contact the fleet to bring in a cruiser to tow the Darkwing to a repair station.. if any are still intact."
Helm: Yes my Queen.
A tracker team went to the transporter and was beamed aboard the Darkwing. The team searched the ship and walked into the bridge
Tracker 1: Who in this room is Captain Rivers?

Mallor slowly guided the dead guard to the ground. he had knocked him out and muffled him before he could make any sound. Luckily these portals were very stealthy in use and he had been able to sneak up on that lazy Vorta unnoticed. Suddenly heard voices coming his way. Two lowly soldiers were arguing about who should take the next watch when they walked into the room. He swiftly had hidden the body behind some crates and waited for the two to notice.

suddenly they noticed something lacked, and the two abruptly stopped.
"Hey, whatthe... where is..."
The sentence never got finished, because at that moment the two Vorta fell to the flore like sacks of sand. He hid the bodies too and entered the hallway they came from.

Suddenly the alarms sounded. The alarms of detection. He dove into the first little corner of cover he could find and reached to his waist to activate his belt. Then he realized something. he wasn't wearing it, he had left it behind at Vixeria thinking he would never have to use it again. He cursed his own stupidity and then checked the hallway.

"Well, i guess the time for hiding is over."

He turned the safetypal off on the weapon he had fetched from Ancient Vixeria.

Tracker 1: Yes we are. We are here to let you know that we are beaming this crew aboard The Shadow and we will be taking you straight to the bridge as that is done. We are also going to bring in a cruiser and tow the Darkwing to a repair station.
Tracker 2: That is, if you wish for us to.
Tracker 3: Y..yeah.. Terra warned us that if we try to force you to do anything.. w..we could end in serious pain..

Trackers 1 and 2 looked at 3 and sighed.. New Recruits.

Alex and the strike team had been beaming from ship to ship, detonating the reactors of each one, one by one. They had destroyed maybe 2000 ships with the massive cruiser's reactors. The transporters were nearly out of energy, but they kept going. The team beamed aboard a battleship and were greeted by the sight of a wolf-like thing lowering the bodies of two guards to the ground. "Halt!" shouted Alex as he trained his rifle on the aliens chest...

*The crew gathered only essential items, and were beamed aboard the shadow moments later.

Rivers had himself escorted to the bridge. He glanced around quickly*

Are you ready to launch the time discharge? Things look to be getting pretty hopeless out there!

I'm kind of in the middle of something at the moment to be telling you about my ship that is currently a floating husk out in space!

*Rivers walked over to a console. Rivers pushed one of the Vixens out of the way and sat down. He started tapping at the console*

I'm directing us towards the largest cluster of Berges' ships. If I can pinpoint Berges, maybe we can get him in the time discharge, and bring him with us to the future!

Terra sighed.
"Rivers, don't try to direct the ship.. There is a catch to using the torpedo.. The shockwave is going to be pretty big.. anyone not in the rift will probably get killed, and we need to reinstate you into the Protectors to the Throne."

good, the more we can take down the better. if we can destroy those in the shockwave, and only take a portion of the fleet with us through time, then I think we'll have done a very good job indeed!

*Rivers looked at the console. His Vixen was a little rusty, but he understood the controls well enough. Besides, a tricky maneuver like this, he didn't want to trust it to anyone else but himself*

I'd alert your people to get either as close to us as possible, or as far away from us as possible!

*Rivers awaited command. When the beam would be fired, he would have to pull a slingshot around the planet, so that the energy transfer would transfer into the time discharge, allowing them to control when they existed time. Rivers' goal was the year 3000 ad*

Terra began to type furiously into a console that had appeared.
"EVERYONE GET READY!!"
She typed in a sequence of numbers and the torpedo fired.. a little white ball of light shot into the middle of the space between each fleet. and a time rift opened up.

*Rivers watched the screen intently, counting in his head. Now was no time to loose concentration.....

Rivers was kneeling before the Admiral

Admiral: You have done well, with your continued support, this war will be won by us! Death to all Vixens!

Rivers shook his head. DARN flashback! He hadn't had one for days, why now? Suddenly, he became aware that Terra was screaming at him. She bounded over and through Rivers to the side, but it was too late, the window had been missed. They entered the rift, but when they exited was unknown. No ships could be detected on all sensors. They were literally in the middle of no where. Terra turned and glared at Rivers, Rivers, began laughing hysterically, before throwing up and passing out*

*The Shadow was adrift in open space, the Darkwing not too far from it. There was no sign of the other ships anywhere.

Rivers lay unconscious in the medbay, his body quivering as images passed through his head. Dreams, nightmares, his mind was unleashed on himself. He lay there for hours, not responding to stimulus from anything*

Alex shifted on his feet. It didn't seem right to keep his captain prisoner, but the fox thing said so. Oh well. Rivers groaned. Sounded like he was having a pretty bad dream. Or was coming awake.

*Rivers shot out of bed, eyes wide open and bloodshot. He walked up to the door, shoved Alex out of the way, but walked into a forcefield that had been erected at the door*

Alex grimaced. "Sir, you better stay in your bed. After a few tries at the field, it'll turn to stun. Than torture mode, and if you're really persistent, kill. The fox people say I should kill you if you do anything potentially... bad. You did make us miss the rift."

*Rivers' brain was on fire. HE yelled out in pain and torment. He spun around, ran to the bed and through the sheets and pillows around the room. There was a glass of water on a table nextto the bed. Rivers through the glass at the wall, nearly hitting Alex*

"Sir!" Protested Alex. "I don't want to do this!" He set his phaser on stun and aimed at Rivers's chest. He just snarled in defiance. Alex fired, and Rivers dodged. The stun blast tore the control panel behind Rivers apart, shutting down the force field. Alex gawked. "Uh oh." Rivers swung his mechanical arm and knocked Alex out.

He slowly regained consciousness with a burning headache like he had drunken liters of bloodwine last evening. he tried to get up, but somebody pushed him down briskly. He opened his eyes and noticed that he was not lying in his bed after a wild night, but on the floor of a ship with a purple interior. Then he remembered.

"Who the HELL has used a temporal weapon!?"

He got up again this time, but this time he saw the Vorta hands coming and he snapped the wrists like twigs. He lurched and lunged at the poor guy's neck and snapped it too, but the alarm was already activated.

He looked for his gun and realized it was put on a table outside the forcefield he was contained in. He snatched the gun of his guard and fired three successive salvos at the control panel, with the third salvo it sparked and a part of the field deactivated. He got out, grabbed his own weapon in his right hand again while he held the dominion assault rifle in his left. He charged out of the door into the hallway.

Terra heard the alarms go off. She knew Rivers was unstable so she took a squad of her own guards and ran off after him. As the rounded a corner, they saw him.
"RIVERS!! Stand down. We don't want to hurt you, but we will if we have to.
Her two guards took out high powered stun rifles and Terra brought out her combat-ready stun staff.

Of those 4 I was included. In the time rivers was out cold. I got filled in on the ship the captain and the crew. Then i ended up signing a document swearing secrecy and to be part of the crew. I had to to what my superiors told me at this point. Rivers ran and somebody shot him with a stun weapon. he fell to the floor. [JPB18] Captain Borrego then said [/JPB18] "Leach take him to the enfermary. Then stand guard."

Alex got up and groaned. "Don't get a robotic hand, they said. Waiting for nine years for them to clone a new one is better. Nyah. Next time I get m hand cut off, I got dibs on the first robotic hand. With lasers and super strength. Heck yeah! Well, better see if the captain's been killed yet." He walked over to the door and found himself immediately in the crosshairs of a dozen angry vixens and crew members. "Uhh... whatever it was, it was Borrego's fault. Cross my heart and hope to die. NO! Please don't shoot, it's a human phrase!" The Vixens looked at each other and shrugged. Who knew about Humans... weird, not furry little things...

"So, Captain... we had to shoot you... tell me why did Terra asked us to capture our own captain on her ship, because "he was nuts?" Or it is confidential..." Asked I to him...
"It's confidential" Replied Rivers...
"Ok..." I got the handcuffs keys and then released him... "The medic has released you and because I don't feel you're a treat... You're also released... so, whats the plan?"

Mallor just stormed through the hallways until he encountered the room he was looking for, the place where he had exited the portal. He entered the room, found it full of surprised soldiers, and went out again just as quick. He walked into a side corridor and entered the room again from another side. The soldier all had their side turned towards him, their guns aimed at the door in which he had just appeared. He pulled up both his own gun and the vorta automatic assault rifle he had nicked and fired them both continuously for several seconds. when the shots died away the room was covered in blood and dead or dying bodies. He slowly walked towards the gates while stepping over the bodies and entered it.

*Borrego cautiously handed Rivers the water. Rivers splashed it on his face. Rivers slowly stood up and walked over to the porthole. There was sometihng out there, he could almost see it, could anybody else, was it a halucination, no, it was a familiar shape, a timeship perhaps? Almost like one that Rivers used to use*

umm oh hello old friend. hmm those pips suit you your the captain I am guessing well congrats. umm right yes could you allow me to land in your shuttle bay or somewhere. oh who cares give me somewhere to land"

*Rivers sat back down on the bed. He never expected to see James after all of this time. A familiar face from the olden days. Rivers shook his head as he became dizzy again. And where on earth did that headache come from?*

Maleuri walked out of the portal and looked around. great. Just F!ing great. Portals to places existing outside of time were soooo accurate. Now he appeared in the middle of that raid.

Then he realized something. These were no ordinary Dominion soldiers. Ordinary Dominion soldiers didn't carry the same weapons as they did. His mind was raging and a roar was flowing up from his lungs.
"TREASON!!!"

He lifted the guns up and went berserk at everything looking like a Dominion soldier. Streaks of blood were now coloring his fur from shades of grey to deep red.

*Suddenly, a klaxon sounded, and the Shadow went into red alert.*

*Rivers got up and looked out the porthole. In the distance, a ship was coming, Rivers couldn't make out the design, it was unfamiliar to him, yet it resembled something humans might make, but that was nothing like what had ever been in existence*

Terra looked up from her console. The Shadow's cannons were charged and ready to open fire on her command. She sent the tracker team to get Rivers. This was going to be a big fight. Then a static filled message came on through the comm channel.
-V- Death... *static* They are.. *static* Everyone gone *static* FoxtrotEpsilonDelta *static* Seek Vixen help.. *comm dies*-V-
"Helm, pull in the newcomer into the docking bay. Get Rivers up here. Also pull the Darkwing into the hangar bay for the rest of the repairs.. The engines are still not operational. Get the fighters and bombers ready. That ship is either enemy.. or the owners of the message we just recieved. If they get any closer or open fire, unleash upon them Vixeria's WRATH!! This is an order from your Queen, heed it, for today you prove yourselves to be part of this Great Race!"
A cheer when up across the ship as everyone rallied to do their job and do it wel. The Tracker team ran to med bay and opened th forcefield.
Tracker 1: Rivers come with us. We're going to need you. The Queen has a job for you.
Tracker 2: And as from the order of the Queen, the Darkwing is being brought in and so is your friend into docking bay Alpha. He also will be escorted to the bridge, and if he tries anythig funny, he will be taken down withot a second thought.
Tracker 3: My my, you look...
Trackers 1 & 2: Be quiet.. Now is not the time for games and flirts.
Tracker 3: Sorry..
The team escorted Rivers to the bridge quietly as assault teams and tech crews rushed around the ship.

Terra looked at Rivers.
"We just got a transmission that could be only coming from that ship. We need a team of people to go and explore it. We'll give you one of our assualt squads, but I have to help ourt techies devolop another timewarp torpedo.. but more with a set date and destination....."
Helm: Queen, another ship coming in.. it seems to one of ours!!!
"Everyone to stations!! Release the drones in a phalanx formation and guard the ship."
