Yeah, I like the bass in my new ones. My bro's is OK, except I find it has too much bass and drowns out the other sounds
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
i plan to work on it just i don't have much time and all code no design done.Darkwing wrote:well...that's a mildly bland looking site. Are you intending to do more design later on or is this what you're leaving it at?
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Heh, the events that have happened here at home tonight have amused me. And now I know what everyone truly believes around here, I don't think that the people involved intended for that to happen
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
An old Italian man lived alone in New Jersey. He wanted to plant his annual tomato garden; but it was very difficult work as the ground was hard.
His only son, Vincent, who used to help him, was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament:
Dear Vincent,
I am feeling pretty sad, because it looks like I won't be able to plant my tomato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. I know if you were here my troubles would be over. I know you would be happy to dig the plot for me, like in the old days.
Love, Papa
A few days later he received this letter from his son:
Dear Pop, Don't dig up that garden. That's where the bodies are buried.
Love, Vinnie
At 6 am the next morning, FBI agents and local police arrived and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.
Dear Pop, Go ahead and plant the tomatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love, Vinnie

Talking about music, Amazon are offering 100 previous top 10 albums for £3. So I will be spending some of the money I need for uni on random twangs and whistles that some call music.
EDIT: If you like Haydn, I noticed 99 of his pieces are for sale in one album for $2.49

Nah, no worries. I'm not a personal fan, just he's generally one of the more popular composers.

It's funny how fast topics come and go if you think about it. I mean we had some really popular topics going not even a week ago and already they're nearing the bottom of the page. Things are just so short lived it seems

Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
A military cargo plane, flying
over a populated area, suddenly loses power and starts to nose down. The
pilot tries to pull up, but with all their cargo, the plane is too
heavy. So he yells to the soldiers in back to throw things out to make
the plane lighter. They throw out a pistol. "Throw out more!" shouts the
pilot. So they throw out a rifle. "More!" he cries again. They heave
out a missile, and the pilot regains control.
He pulls out of the dive and lands safely at an airport. They get into a
jeep and drive off. Pretty soon they meet a boy on the side of the road
who's crying. They ask him why he's crying and he says "A pistol hit me
on the head!"
They drive more and meet another boy who's crying even harder. Again
they ask why and the boy says, "A rifle hit me on the head!"
They apologize and keep driving. They meet a boy on the sidewalk who's
laughing hysterically. They ask him, "Kid, what's so funny?" The boy
replies, "I sneezed and a house blew up!"

Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Wow, that's a lightly loaded cargo plane. Would expect them to have more than enough to arm one guy.

Throwing off a pistol and a rifle to lighten the load? Really? I have major suspension of disbelief and I can ignore lots of stuff, but that part just rubbed the wrong way in so many ways.

So, is it bad that when I leave for approx 12 hours, only about 5-ish posts are made?

Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
interestingly enough, it's up to you guys how boring it is and isn't. I mean people say there's not much interesting here or nothing happening, well, make something happen. Post something that is interesting! Don't just rely on me all the time cause I'm a boring piss-pot who's no fun so you can't rely on my for fun things.

The same aunt that had a tumor the size of a football in her stomach, but somehow didn't utterly destroy her inner organs, even when it somehow burst despite the fact that tumors don't work like balloons? I'm crying. Really. Just stop spewing forth fountains of bullshit, please?
So... Have we officially run out of stuff to talk about?

Who hates rain? I sure do. It spoils the crap out of a planned day of fun.
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
I fuckin' love rain. It's all... Wet and stuff... And it's like... Falling... And shit...
What i really like about rain is the sounds and the smells. It just makes a really relaxing atmosphere. Both the smell of rain and the smell of recently wet wood are some of my favorite smells.

The sound of rain is quite relaxing, but not when its coming from my leaking roof. It kept me up almost all night last night. ><
As for smells, I prefer the smell of cinnamon. Mmmm.....cinnamon.......
