Mark II Viper

So although my modeling skills aren't exactly the best on the planet, I've decided to try and model a Mark II Viper, so here's what I got so far. And I use Animation Master because the question is inevitable even though I've stated it a bunch of times before, and FF, google it (both the Viper and AM cause I know you're gonna ask and I'm not gonna answer)

Well, there's actually one solution: get a program and train on it!

Cool....maybe now you can add color...I'd love to see that fire coming out of the engine..

texturing comes at the end and I'm no where near that yet!

I have a program, it is called google sketch up, and i have had it for 3 years, and i only a few months ago learned how to make a sphear, LOL

up next is probably one of the hardest bits...the cockpit

that would seem hard, so are you going to do the interior of the cockpit with a windor and all of the controls, or are you going to just make it black so you cant see in it?

tinting you cockpit may be cheap but it works, either way looks cool so far

But I've seen a problem with 3d animations that is public. They are not movie-like, even when rendered.

that's because they're not skilled animators. I've seen stuff that's more than movie like, it's photo-realistic. I'm not that good. Oh and I'll be modeling the cockpit in its entirety, controls, Dradis, ejection seat that ejects, it'll all be there

Maybe you should add a seat in the cock-pit...

Now, after admining a forum, moderatoring 3 more, I think my posts are a bit more....on the relevant side (unlike somebody......).

patience mostly. just being able to sit through doing it and not wanting to rush to the end

I basically stopped posting on Vex's Site becuase the people there was starting to vex (annoy) me. Most of the posters in their thousands post rude/random/offtopic things and Vex wasn't letting anyone help with Flash Trek: Odyssy....

Anyways those cockppits DW are really nice!

DW, that is great, now all you need to do is add texture, and maby a little more detail, but i dont see anywere you can add detail.

there is some things on the side of the fuselage, but I'm kinda stumped on how to make them. There's still some cockpit work to be done and then it's texturing time

[/brag]Actually, I do have a little bit of knowledge in modeling. Well, I'm not a model, LOL, but I have walked models down the red carpet. And I must tell you chaps, it's quite fun!
(You get to hang with the hot models.)
But.... you will probably never get to do that. The only reason I got to, was because I happen to be close friends with a clothing designer, who happens to be one of the richest women in the state. (She's cool, but very eccentric.)[/brag]

Try getting blender and messing around with it. I've never used it before, but it's supposed to be pretty good for a free program.

Man, DW...I can't even believe that's fan-created! The strips, the detail, all look like a special designer made it!
