Episode 7

Terra had to put a stop to this. She came up behind Mallor, shooting him in the back with her stun rifle, sending his body to the floor as she caught Leach.
"I'm very sorry for him. He doesn't normally act like this."
Kaliandra walked up to Terra, looking down at Mallor.
Kaliandra: I'll take him to his room. Maybe he will figure out we don't threaten visitors.
Terra: Thank you. Now Leach, how is it that you plan to save Rivers from this time paradox?
Terra walked with Leach, as Kaliandra dragged Mallor to his room, throwing his body in, and shutting the door. She ran to catch up with Terra, taking up her position as guard.

Terra looks at the viewscreen, and decided to act. She hated doing what she did to Mallor, but she also knew he didn't take orders. She would have to apologize for it, but not now. She typed in a code, as The Shadow started to move. She looked at the device in her hands, and concentrated, Kaliandra at her side.

Mallor stepped forward and grabbed him by his neck.

*Rivers climbed into a shuttle and ignited the engines. The shuttle lifted off the platfrom. Below Rivers could see the smouldering remains of the Admiral's headquarters. Rivers activated the snesros and did a search, there it was, the Admiral's shuttle. Somehow he always managed to escape when things got desparate. Not this time, Rivers accelerated the shuttle. Rivers always found it odd flying whe he was in the continuum. There was no such thing as outer space here, or planets, it was all one. It was very confusing if you thought about it too long. There, he was in sight now, the chase was on*

(I am completely lost in all this time-traveling-back-shooting-teleporting-dead-race-other-rivers-admiral crap! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!?!?! If I knew I would be more active, but instead everyone on my ships and I are standing off to the side wondering about toilets or something. My self centeredness needs to get back into the story.)

that's what i'm trying to fix now, so that things are less confusing, but in short, i am outside of time chasing the admiral, i think terra and mallor have also exited time to find me

no, i was an apprentice of berges, and do not plan on being an apprentice of rivers. and berges is the guy behind this, however some time in the future rotakon plans to kill him and take total galactic domination. but, we still need to get berges to the present point, unless dw is going back there.

Terra was in the tech wing of The Shadow, talking to some of the scientist about opening some sort of wormhole into the continuum. She looked around, hoping what Leach said was correct. She went over to him, placing a hand on his shoulder.

"The guards reported that Mallor is gone, and we need your help to make this device work. Please come and help us."

(could you please try steering the rpg in another direction without leaving tons of loose ends then? it's exactly what makes this RP so confusing, the constantly jumping from one place to another. also, you didn't correct me, you just said something completely different from what i said. big difference.)

(If you haven't noticed it already, RPs are generally TOGETHER. that means, with consulting eachother. it's rather impolite, in fact rude and annoying when you try push a rp to open side without talking to others. especially if you don't explain what is going on and just expect people to follow.)

Mallor ran after the figure who didn't hear him. The shuttle doors closed just before him and he had to take cover as Rivers took off. He cursed and kicked against a dead body.

you'e the only one out of the loop here M, so I am sorry. And i really wish you would STOP PATRONIZING ME AND PRETENDING LIKE I'M AN IDIOT!!! I might soon take offense to it, and I hate to get personal with another member of the forum, but if it continues, you'll have it coming to you

*Terra hands me the device that I take apart and reverse the rings and did a few more things. We then both appeared in rivers shuttle*

“We are here." I said.

Rivers: “Good”

*Then I consulted Terra.*

“What is going to happen to M?”

*Rivers had a lock on the admiral, he wasn't escaping him this time. Rivers navigated the shuttle closer to the Admiral's. He activated the weapons and aimed at the admiral's shuttle. SUddenly, the shuttle disappeared! Rivers cursed that he didn't see this coming. Of course the Admiral would have a time shuttle. Rivers pounded the console. There was nothing he could do in this shuttle. Rivers entered new coordinates into the shuttles computer. The only way to catch the admiral was to head to the ship. Leach was to report there once he had brought Mallor and Terra into the continuum*

Terra looked around the spot they had appeared at. She looked at Kaliandra, who had come along in place of Mallor. The continuum looked strange, felt strange, and was strange in all sense of the word. It felt that time itself had stopped, yet they kept moving.

*IT would be soon. If time existed here, then this would have been the moment he had been waiting for all these years. Soon, it was still too far off to see, but it would be in visual range in moments*

Everyone looked up and was stunned, not saying a word to each other, looking at what had just shown up.

*A large ship appeared in the sky, swooping down on the small group. The ship opened fire on them. Terra jumped out of the way as debris flew everywhere. The ship clearly belonged to the admiral. It fired more shots, one nearly hitting the group*

( a bit of autoconvo on leach's part, but I can sense this episode coming to a close pretty quickly )

Leach: I may have misjudged the position, but this is were Rivers told me to bring you.
Kaliandra: It's okay, we just have to wait.. I hope this platform stays stable while being fired upon. Do we have anything big enough to shoot at that??
Terra: I spot a anti-aircraft turret.. pretty ancient for Earth technology, considering what they use now. Kaliandra, see if you can get it to work. I am going to test out my prototype heavy assualt blaster. Maybe I can damage the shields..

Kaliandra drags Leach behind some cover, and takes off to the ancient AA gun, trying to get it to work. Terra runs behind cover, pulling out an oversided repeating blaster, and leans to the side, opening fire upon the admiral's ship, keeping it's fire away from Kaliandra.

*The admirals ship made another pass firing on the platform. The platform began to crack, it was going to give way soon....


...Rivers ran onto the bridge having docked the shuttle. It was so dark and lonely, this thing wasn't meant to have only one person on it. Rivers sat down near at the helm control. He tapped at some controls, then ran over to the ops panel and hit a few more controls. The ship started coming to life one section at a time. The large engines started to activate, adding a soothing hum to the hull. Rivers went to the command console and tapped some controls*

Computer, activate holographic displays!

*The whole bridge lit up in its entirety. Holographic panels activated, filling up the brightly lit bridge. *

Leach: This platform is not going to last!!! We have to get out of here
Terra: Where? There is no other place to go!! This platform leads nowhere.

Terra keeps firing on the ship, doing some minor damage to the shields, then multitple missiles start firing at the engines as Kaliandra runs over to Terra and Leach.

Kaliandra: I got the AA gun working.

*Kaliandra started firing on the admiral;'s ship. Suddenly the gun sparked and exploded, throwing Kaliandra onto the platform scarred and scorched and unconcious. Terra looked up, the Admiral's ship was coming around for another pass, this one would do them. The ship opened fire. Terra saw the lasers coming, almost in slow motion. All of the fighting, the rebellions, a whole life, this was how it was going to end. Terra closed her eyes and waited. And waited. Surely he didn't miss, she would have felt the impact. She cautiously opened an eye, than the other. The admiral's ship was nowhere to be seen, neither was the whole landscape. Instead, a door slid opened and Rivers walked through it*

Sorry I'm a bit late

"Ok so i misjudged time a little bit but we are safe. Kinda."

*I took a device out of my pocket and went to the ship.*

"Ok, it will be ready soon. It needs to finish recalibrating. Time shifting should be up in 1.5 hours."

Good, Leach, head to engineering, Terra, I got something you might like to see!

*Rivers took off a sprint. Terra still looked a little confused, but then took off after Rivers.

They entered the bridge and Terra was immediately amazed. This was more complex and advanced than anything she had ever seen in her life. The whole bridge was essentially one large holographic display*

Welcome aboard the Darkwing Terra, the real Darkwing. This ship has been under construction for roughly five hundred years. It incorporates tech from all over time, the future, the past, the present. This is probably the most advanced piece of tech the galaxy will ever see. Anyways, we have an admiral to deal with!

*Rivers sat at the command chair and pulled up some holographic panels*

I have the Admiral in our sights, Leach, how is engineering? Terra, prepare for departure on my mark

Terra tapped at her console as Kaliandra went over to another seat.
Kaliandra: Charging up weapons. Ready to fire in 3.
Terra: Engines are primed for departure. Ready to go as soon as we take care of the admiral.

Terra and Kaliandra looked at Rivers, waiting for his command.

*Leach's voice came over the intercomm*

Leach: Device installed successfully, we are now at 100% operating effiency!

Me: Very good Leach. Terra, we may depart!

*The Darkwing slid out from the construction site*

Terra, lock onto the admiral's ship, ready to fire on my mark....

*Suddenly the Admiral's ship disappeared*

Me: Where'd he go?

Terra: Im detecting a temporal disturbance, he's gone back into the timeline!

*Rivers thudded his fist on the command chair.*

All right, Leach, activate the device, Terra, set course for the shadow at the time when you left. We'll rendezvous with Mallor and the others. There;s no point in chasing the admiral a=without a crew

Kaliandra came over and sat with Terra. Terra tap some more and the Darkwing slid into a temporal warp. Terra leaned back in her chair, looking at everything.
"This rivals the Shadow in size, and technology. I wonder if we could upgrade the Shadow, modeling some things from this to add to it. Would that be okay Rivers? I also have some Vixens looking for work when we get back. We have enough passengers to crew this entire ship. What do you say to that?" Terra looked at Rivers, as Kaliandra fell asleep.

Yes, there are many technologies on this ship that could integrate with the shadow's. Mallor should oversee the installation, I do believe he had some part in the shadow's design


(note, I'm going to post the stats for the darkwing here in a moment)

Terra shook her head and gave a slight laugh.

"Mallor wasn't around when the Shadow was being made. The only reason it doesn't have all the up-to-date Vixen techonology is because we haven't had a chance to upgrade it and it was rushed near the end. Can we make a stop at Vixeria so we can to repairs to the Shadow and get the upgrades going?"

Terra lean against Kaliandra, nodding off to sleep, but keeping one eye open, looking at Rivers.

*There was a slight jolt as the Darkwing exited the timewarp*

Hm, bit rough, I'll have to get that fixed!

*Rivers looked out at the viewscreen. The Shadow was in orbit around the planet. Rivers tapped a panel*

Shadow, this is Captain Rivers of the Darkwing, Mallor, are you htere?

"This is the Shadow, and no, he is not here. This is Lt. Commander Aleshia. Do you have Terra and Kaliandra with you Captain Rivers?" The Shadow's guns were out, and some signs of battle were showing.

Terra and Kali were asleep in their chairs, Terra leaning on Kali. The Darkwing slowly pulled up to the Shadow, and the auto-pilot disengaged.

Yes Shadow, they are here with me. What is the nature of the situation, you are deployed for combat

-V- We were recently attacked by raiders.. They apparently didn't like a big ship like ours and thought they could take us.. we have disabled a few and have those responsible in cells. Do you want some crew? We also tracked the Admiral's timestream warp. -V- The Shadow hid it's guns once more, and lowered the shields.

*I came to the bridge and took my seat at the time warp console.*
"I am saving the admirals temporal signiture. Itl looks like he headed to stardate 3582.54 Current stardate 3545.68" I said out loud. Then I thought to myself "It doesn't matter any more. Now time is irrelevant."

Shadow this is Rivers, I would request that a small crew be transported over to the Darkwing, we have an Admiral to catch!

Alex opened a channel to the Darkwing, cutting off the channel to the Shadow. If the furry aliens didn't want to talk, they didn't want to talk. "Hey, people in the ship! My entire crew has been wetting their pants wondering when they get to do something! How can we help, as long as you're a non hostile species/original crew of the Darkwing.

Alex, long time no see. How about re-joining the crew of the Darkwing? We are seriously understaffed and have some admiral hunting to do!

"Rivers? Good to see you too. And always a pleasure to take out pent up anger on a person with a shinier badge then me. I'll be coming over, as well as a few key members of my team."

Alex, Shasza, and Padago stepped onto the transporters, waved the purple ship goodbye, and beamed over to the ship they had thought doomed. Alex had left William in charge of the "Fleet", and declined the offer of extra personnel. He had learned the hard way that having a ton of people with you encourages enemies to use high explosives.

*Rivers tapped some controls, re-establishing contact with the Shadow*

Shadow, sorry about the disruption, any personelle willing to transport aboard?

-V- Yes. We also took the liberty of getting some schematics for the upgrades that need to be done with this ship, so almost everyone is coming over. We have left a small group of people to pilot the Shadow back home. Are you ready to recieve anyone?-V-
The Shadow warmed up her engines, preparing for slipspace.

*Rivers cut off the channel and headed for the tranporters. Moments later, personnel from the Shadow started beaming over, some carrying large pieces of equipment. Rivers greeted them quickly, then headed back for the bridge.*
