Episode 3

*Rivers sat in his ready room, a holographic padd open in front of him. RIvers was staring intently at it, studying it, detail for detail. His metallic arm lifting a mu of hot chocolate to is lips, he savoured the warmth and the flavour of the drink. He closed the holo-padd and looked down at his arm. It glistened in the dimly lit room, and Rivers studied the metallic skeleton. He clenched his fist, and then brought it thundering down on the desk, denting it. Rivers studied the black lining on the arm. It seemed familiar, the design structure, it was similar to something, but what.

Rivers was now certain of his suspicions, and he feared that. He understood what could happen, probably better then anyone, almost anyone, there were two, two others that he knew had experienced what he had, except from a different point of view. Visions came to Rivers, as he daydreamed about what had happened, all those years ago. That one fatal mission... The door rang out softly, awakening Rivers from his trance*

Enter!

*Borrego entered the ready room*

What's the status of the crew? How are they adjusting?

Terra stumbled out of her room, experiencing another dizzy spell. A few marines rushed to her side as she collapsed on the floor.

????: TERRA!!!

The cloaked figure burst out of her room and knocked the marines against the wall, picked up Terra and rushed her to med bay.

????: Terra, speak to me. Terra!!

"Keep.....yourself.....hidden...."

Terra's head hit the pillow on the bed as the cloaked figure began running test to figure out what was wrong. Then darkness overtook her vision.

*Rivers was talking to Borrego, when he looked up, kind of disoriented. He tapped his commbadge*

Bridge, status report

Bridge: Everything's normal up here, we just experienced a slight power loss, no more than 1 percent, probably just the power regenration kicking in

Me: All right. Borrego, that will be everything

*Borrego looked confused, he never even gave his report. Borrego left the room, and Rivers locked the door. His arm felt warm, and he pulled out a tricorder and scanned the arm*

Odd

The figure was busily running around and kept the med bay doors shut. The figure needed to revive Terra. This fainting spell had been worse..... Maybe the figure could meet Rivers... he could be sympathetic couldn't he?

"Why the hell didn't he read the report?" Said I
Suddenly, he's watch started saying:
"Sir, here is lieutenent Richard... we've a few problems down here... a few people started fighting because they wanted x or y room... We're taking them to the brig..."
"I'm on my way..." Said I

*Rivers sat in his room. He shook his head, he knew he was dreaming, imagining things, he'd been under a lot of stress. The doc wanted him to talk with him sometime, to rehabilitate, that was it. It had been years, years, it wouldn't be now. Rivers jolted up in his chair. There it was again, that feeling, he knew that feeling, and for some reason, he was terrified. What was it, he could almost put his finger on it, but he couldn't remember, always vague memories, but nothing substantial. Suddenyl, something passed through rivers, lifting him out of his chair and sending him against the wall. Rivers struggled up, a little dazed, it passed again, this time throwing Rivers across the room. Rivers hit his head, and his vision became foggy*

*Rivers shook his head, trying to get the stars to go away. Whatever it was, was very strong and powerful. Rivers felt his body being lifted up. He swung his arms, but they hit nothing, it was like an invisible force was pushiong him up against the wall. Suddenly Rivers was released. Rivers fell to the floor with a loud thud, gasping for breath. He braced himself for the next attack...but it didn't come. Rivers stumbled over to the door and unlocked it. The doors wooshed open, and rivers collapsed onto the bridge*

The cloaked figure ran towards the little red dot on the PADD. This figure had a purpose: Keeping Terra alive. Two marines got in the way and both were killed in an instant with two shots to each of their heads and quickly disposed of. This figure couldn't be halted in her mission. She found Rivers in the bridge. She put her boot on his chest and pointed a fully loaded phaser rifle between his eyes.
????: Rivers I presume? Make one false move and I'll pull this trigger. Your going to help me and your not going to complain. Terra is in Med-Bay and in a coma. She had a fainting spell earlier and she hasn't woken up. You will help me, or I'll kill everyone on this ship finding someone that will. Do you understand, or do you need to lose another arm?
A marine runs in the room and the figure pulls out a phaser pistol and shoots him and the marine falls back with a smoldering hole in his chest.

-In the Med-Bay-

Terra groaned but didn't move. A hologram of the figure kept pacing back and forth in the room and takes an occasional glance at Terra at each movement or sound.
"Ka...Kaliandra......"
The hologram looked up and kept pacing. Terra started to sit up, but fell back on the bed. Grabbing the table next to her, Terra stood up, and walk-limped towards the room that Rivers and Kaliandra were in.

-Back at the Scene-

Kaliandra: I said, do you understand?!
Kaliandra jabbed Rivers with the rifle and growled. She was losing her patience with him quickly, and if it didn't hamper Terra's mission, he would been laying in a pool of his own blood. She dropped the rifle when she heard the door open and looked back to see Terra standing there, but seeming to look past both of them. The hologram stood behind her just shaking it's head. Kaliandra rushed over to Terra as she fell and grabbed her, and looked back at Rivers with tears in her eyes.
"Ka...Ka...Kaliandra..." Terra fainted again.
Kaliandra: Please Rivers... Help me save her, and bring Mallor with you too.
Kaliandra stood up holding Terra and carried her back to the med bay. Kaliandra layed her down and held her hand as tears made their way down her face as she cried.

You didn't do your homework lady, I don't like bein messed around with, and I was just messed with, so now i'm kind of angry...

*Rivers with almost superhuman speed, sent his robotic arm at Kalandria, grabbing her throat and pinning her against a wall. The rifle fell as she was slightly startled at the human's agility and strength*

Lt: Sir! Several other marines have been reported dead

Rivers: I give you five seconds to justify killing some of my crew, and if you don't comply

*Rivers tightened his grip around her neck*

Kaliandra started to choke.
"They got in my way.... I must save Terra!!!" Kaliandra grabbed the arm and flipped Rivers over her head and put her boot to his throat and pushed down.
"And no one is going to stop me."
Kaliandra picked up her rifle and ran towards med bay.

*Rivers looked after Kalandria*

They got in her way...?

Lt: Sir, shall I send a...

Me: No, they'd be shot on sight

*Rivers jumped over to the ops console and started tapping away*
She's got the security systems powered down, I thought this ship was encrypted beyond belief!

*Rivers tapped his commbadge*

Transporter room, room to room transport, sickbay

*Rivers materialized in sickbay, just as Kalandria rushed in through the doors. Rivers swung his mechanical arm up and struck Kalandria in the face sending her to the ground. She jumped up with lightning speed and pulled Rivers' legs out from underneath him. He flipped over onto his back. Jolting his arm up, he managed to grab the rifle and crush it. He tossed it aside and stood up*

What the hell is this?

*Rivers yelled and then waited*

Without saying a word, or trying to fight in med bay, Kaliandra pointed at Terra, and sat down in a chair with her head in her hands.

*Rivers pulled out a tricorder and scanned Terra*

She's suffering from malnutrition combined with stress, and this indicates she hasn't slept in a week. Her body is probably trying to regenerate itself

"Hm?" Kaliandra walked over to the screens and scanned Terra again.
"This machine keeps saying there is something interfering with the scans. OH!"
Kaliandra grabbed on something at Terra's waist and pulled off the belt.
Terra's human-like appearance faded away to reveal a Vixen finding a hard time breathing.
"Scan her again please... see if it comes up the same."

*Rivers cocked an eyebrow. He slowly raised the tricorder and scanned Terra again*

Regenerating may not have been too far off, just, not what a human has to go through

*Rivers set the tricorder down and exited the room. As Rivers walked down the hall, he could hear voices in his head, visions of the past kept blotting out his vision. The voices got louder...louder...LOUDER! Rivers gasped for air. He was in his quarters on the floor. How long he'd been there he didn't know, how he got there he didn't know. He struggled up, thinking that it was all a dream, but when he felt the dried blood, and the bruises, he knew it had been real. He knew his past was back, just as he had feared*

Terra woke up and looked around.
"Where...Where am I?"
Kaliandra: Shhhh. It's alright. Everyone knows I'm here now, though three are dead... Marines, nothing more. You just need to rest.
"Alright...." Terra lays her head on the pillow and falls fast asleep.
"Now for my other reason I'm here.. Where is that Mallor?" Kaliandra pondered as she walked out of the room and three Attack Drones stood guard at the door. 2 on the outside, one standing inside.

*The guns, the blood, death, the putric smell of circuits burning, of explosions and.... Rivers shook his head again. It couldn't be, after all of these years, it couldn't be. He had forgotten, whether it had been intentional or not, he didn't know, but he was remembering.*

Snap out of it Rivers, it's only nightmares, it's only nightmares

*Rivers straightened his shirt and stretched out his arms, before briskly walking out and onto the bridge*

Kaliandra made her way to Mallor's room, the marines giving her a WIDE walk area, most just finding a new way to get where they were going.

Kaliandra hears two people speaking in the room and cloaks herself, and listens in.

*The planet Orion loomed closer on the viewscreen. Rivers slowly walked and sat down in his chair*

Activate the claoking device

*The Darkwing disappeared as it approached orbit*

All right, transport landing party, and make it quick

*Rivers looked uneasy*

Kaliandra kept listening in. She heard things about the techs of this ship, and Mallor seemed to keep calling the the other person Leia.... She heard that name somewhere before. Kaliandra walked back to the Bridge and decloaked.
"Rivers, Terra is doing fine now. She is sleeping right now and I'd like to figure out what I can do to help.

"Sir... here is Borrego! We're ready to be transported!" Said I, while running to inside the transporter...

At the moment, nothing, just don't harm my people

Lt: Transporter teams have returned, we have erplenished supplies

Me: Very good take us out of orbit, return us to the scene of the battle between the Mark One and the dominion cruiser. It's still out there, and it must be destroyed!

*the dominion cruiser exited Trey* me: we have a full load of more crewmen now, captain.
berges: excellent.
me: where to next?
berges: to the remains of the darkwing, i want to see if we can salvage anything from it.

At the hulk of the Darkwing I

"Sir what is this?" An ensign looked as his captain.
"I do not know. Wait, why are the sensors going off?!" The captain rushed to his console and tapped up the information
"Sir! We hae three squads of unknown ships coming in!!" The ensign looked up alarmed.
"If only I wouldn't have come out here, I could be at home now." The Captains last words were silenced as the screech of a bomb hit the side of the ship and the ship exploded.

-V- Took care of them didn't we. Kaliandra would be proud. So, what are we going do to about this hulk? Take it back or just blow it up? -V-
-V- Contact Kaliandra.-V-

-V- Kaliandra, this is Wolf Squadron, we have been lost for a while but we found the hulk of the Darkwing.-V-
Kaliandra looked at Rivers.
"It's my old squadron. They have the old Darkwing hulk under guard. They can destroy it...."

*The Darkwing exited warp into a debris field of sec 31 and Mark 1.*

Try and locate an energy signature, we need something to detect this dominion cruiser by

*Rivers stood up and paced around the bridge*
Lt: Sir, I am detecting an energy source that could be the cruiser, hold on, it's in the system, wati a second...

Me: Lt, out with it!

Lt: Sir, I thought I saw the ship, why would it stay here though? Nah, it must've been my imagination

Me: I wouldn't chance it, take us to yellow ale...

Lt: There sir!
*The Lt pointed at a larger piece of debris, behind it, the cruiser could vaguely be seen moving about*

Me: Red alert! Shields to max!

(yippee, now we can test this thing in combat, !!!!!)

"Weapons Station Number two is ready!" Said I "Backup and support weapons are ready to use... weapon generator is powering the weapons!"

Good Borrego, now we wait, let them make the first move

*Rivers tapped his commbadge*
All hands, battle stations, senior staff to the Bridge

*Rivers sat back down. The ship was ready, but was he. Some deal his friend had, getting him into this mess, and now he was going at it again, and why, out of some self determined sense of righteousness? The Feds could handle this, they always have, except the feds never realized about the dirty work, the stuff that Rivers was always involved in. Always involved in? Sense when? More memories? A past, why didn't he remember, the Darkwing protocol, the darkw....*

Lt: Incoming!

*Several torpedoes glistened in the starry sky, before impacting on the outer shields. Some point defense lasers activated, and destroyed two of the torpedoes before they even had a chance to impact on the shields. The ship barely even felt the explosions, the inertial dampeners doing their job beautifully.*

Borrego, let's not let on our true power, photon torpedoes only, fire a volley across their bow, nothing impressive, not yet

Kaliandra looked at Rivers.
"The Squadron will be around here somewhere. The Dominion ship was looking for the hulk as Wolf Squadron rigged it to explode if anyone got near. They could help us in this fight. Their other purpose here was bringing Terra her ship. It was completed a couple of weeks ago, and we need to test out it's capabilities. But, getting such a large capital class ship here without detection will be hard, that's why Wolf Squadron destroyed some fed ship that had found the first Darkwing. Rivers? Is something bothering you?"

"Torpedos on the way!" Said I... "Sir, we've registered an impact sir... We've scratched their hull... yes... they're ventilating atmosphere!"

*Rivers sat to the side of his chair, leaning on the arm rest.*

Hail the cruiser

Lt: No response... no wait, incoming!

*A barrage of torpedoes and disrupter fire headed towards the Darkwing, some impacting on the shields, some being destroyed by defense blasters. The Darkwing shuddered, feeling the stress a little more*

This is a waste of time, helm, punch her up to full tactical speed, fly patterns, Borrego, as we pass, strike them with phasers and torpedoes. On one of the passes, fly through their shields and transport a stealth team in, take their captain alive!

"Ok..." Said I "Lieutenent Filips! Organize a team to enter and capture their captain asap!"
"Aye sir" Replied Filips
"Sir, shall we crush their defenses or what?"

No, keep them busy. If they focus on us, they will have less chance of noticing the stealth team. Attack pattern Alpha Vego, Mark!

*The Darkwing rapidly accelerated, passing over the dom cruiser. She passed several times, firing phaser blasts at the hull. On one of the passes, the Darkwing flew through the Dom shields, pulling a tight maneuver, at that second, a stealth team transported to the dom cruiser*

Keep attacking! We give them five minutes!

"I'm feeling a little better.... hey, who is that beside you?" Terra asked sleepily, but said nothing more. She stretched and grabbed the soup that Kaliandra had prepared for her before Mallor showed up. She began eating it, and looking at Mallor.

*Rotakon was off duty when the Darkwing started attacking. he started running to the bridge when he noticed some figures.* "hey! who is that?" *he draws his weapons*

"Sir, we've an alien individual on Mallor's room..." Said I "It's the same race from Terra!"

Terra looked at Leia. "Leia? Sorry, I don't recognize her.. I barely remember anything. Kaliandra keeps trying to help me remember things, but I just can't..." Terra looks at something in the air.

(can someone please sum up in a couple of sentence's what has happened as i cant read three pages no glasses)

We're actually fighting a Dominion Cruiser

"Sir, the signatures are now humans!" Said I "Sir, incoming fire!"

*The Darkwing tremored due to the impact. Rivers looked down at his command console. The team had less then a minute left*

Bring us about once more, we'll pick them up once we pass through their shields

*Two of the stealth team lay dead on the dominion floor, while the other three, tried to ward off guards, and the first officer. The =first officer pulled out a disrupter, and disentegrated one of the stealth team. The Darkwing rapidly advanced the cruiser, finally passing through the shields. The transporter got a lock, and beamed all huminoid life in the vicinity out, including the first officer.*

Chief: Rivers! We got some trouble down here!

Rivers: Mallor! Get to the transporter room stat!

Terra kept staring at Leia and wondered who she was.

"You are like me, but I still can't remember you. I can't remember anything really. Everytime I try, I get a massive headache."

"two down, two left." *rotakon shoots another person* "one left. hmm, i think berges would like to know about this new darkwing." *rotakon stuns the officer and starts dragging him toward the brig. suddenly mallor appears.* "stop right there!" he yells.

Kaliandra keeps stalking rotakon, timing her strike. No one was going to dare going against her. The Hummingbirds were already encircling the Dominion cruiser. Kaliandra springs up behind rotakon and jabs him in the back of his head and knocks him to the floor.
"Mallor, take this man to Rivers. I have to go check on Terra." Kaliandra doesn't wait for Mallor to respond as she runs off to med bay.
