Episode 4

Helm: Sir, we'll be bringing comm back online in a few moments

Me: Very good, you may proceed

Helm: AYe sir, comm reactivating....

*Several seconds passed*
Helm: ANd comm is up.....and there it goes. Whole system just crashed again, overload by the looks of things

Me: Overload, what could cause the comm to overload?

Tact: Sir, a whole lot of encrypted messages stormed the system, that's my guess

Me: Any left on the computer?

Tact: A few

Me: Transfer them to my ready room

Borrego was dreaming again about that girl... he forgot her name... again... They were in a maths class... at her side was Lourenço, which was once one of his biggest friend and also one of the biggest computer programmers of the Federation... unfortunately, he helped building the Mark I Informatics System... I was in front of them, with another friend of mine... Today we were meeting our new teacher... the other one went to retirement...
*Beep noise*
"Ah, what?" Said I
"Commander, Captain Rivers is waiting you at his ready room..." Said someone on the other side of the intercomm
"Ok... I'm there asap..." Said I
Borrego get his padd and exited the room...

*Borrego entered Rivers' ready room, looking both eager and curious*

Computer, lock door, go into full security and privacy mode

*The computer beeped. Rivers turned to look at Borrego*

Before I go on, I need to know that I can trust you, that you will keep whatever you see and hear about this subject from now on a secret from every living thing in this universe, no matter what the circumstances, be it torture, or idle conversation with even your best friend

Borrego raised his right hand and said:
"I promise to keep in secrecy everything who would be said in this conversation..." Said Borrego "Is this enought?

*bartering with the klingons had been tough, but rotakon finally convinced them to side with the dominion due to the fact that the federation would not attack unless attacked first in most cases. there was no missions that the ship needed so it stayed on qo'nos, getting an upgrade. berges could now talk but he could not stand yet.*

*Rivers motioned for Borrego to come around to his personal computer*

Borrego, I want you to hack the encryption on this lock

*Borrego looked at the screen for a few seconds. Hacking wasn't entirely his specialty, but he'd had some practice with it before.*

Borrego: What is this? I haven't ever seen a security seal like this before!

Me: It's a royal encryption, of the planet Vixeria. there should be roughly 28 locks and three passcoded encryptions

*Borrego whistled*
Borrego: No sir, that's next to impossible to break, it would take somebody with more than a lifetime's practice to break this

Me: That's what I thought.

Borrego: Vixeria eh? Why does that seem so familiar......I know, the old legends and kids tales, beings that looked like foxes or some rubbish like that

Rivers: Not quite rubbish.... Computer, pull up all data on Vixeria

Computer: Data unavailable, no such inquery exists

Rivers: Ok, how about, queen vixen, rebellion, 2076, passcode delta 9 0 12, Rivers

Computer: Password accepted, data on planet Vixeria

*A holographic display appeared, and the secret files appeared...*

"Oh my frakking god..." Said I while seeing the hologram " This is awsome... I thought that Vixeria was only a story to entertain the kids... and now I see that it's real..."

*Borrego was watching the hologram in wonder, as the history of Vixeria passed before their eyes. It got to the tough spot for Rivers, the rebellion. The deaths, those horrifying experiences, the things he was forced to do, and the feds......what? Borrego and Rivers almost yelled it out in unison. The Feds?!?!?!?*

Computer! Time stamp this footage please!

Computer: The year is 2122

Me: Then what the hell are soverieng class vessels doing there?

Computer: Data is unavailable

*Borrego and Rivers looked at eachother, at that time period, the Feds wouldn't have existed, not with Sovereign class vessels, and Akira's, there was a whole attack force there, ships all from the late 24th century. This was not something Rivers remembered*

"Wait... looking better the picture... Is that the Darkwing?" Said I "This Darkwing? See, in the middle of the wreckage..."

NICE! I didn't even think of that!


*Rivers looked closely at the images in shock.*

We can't tell anybody about this, not yet! We need to go back, to Vixeria!

"Yeah... I'm gonna... I'm going to put the marines in readiness..." Said I... "If you may..."

Yes, yes, right, oh sorry! computer, deactivate program, deactivate security protocols

Kaliandra looked over the bridge. Everyone was doing their job without fuss. They should, since Terra put her in charge. She kept thinking on what to do. They were keeping the planet Alpha Centauri under guard from any other attack and had sent an embassador to Earth to tell them this was not an invasion, since they had protected the planet, and that they were heading back home. Kaliandra had a hunch something wasn't right with the current situation. Before Kaliandra had left to find Terra, Leia was put in charge due to Terra's mother disappearing and later being found dead. She went through the files on the ship and found one an encrypted area. She would have to tell Terra about this. The embassador came back and Kaliandra ordered the fleet home. The Vixerian fleet jumped into slipspace and headed home
Kaliandra: Helm ETA?
Helm: A day at the most.

Terra woke up and changed. She needed to relax, and this ship came with a swimming pool. Terra went in and took a swim, and tried to relax, though considering some of the circumstances, it would be hard.

*Four days later, the Darkwing exited wrap in the outer rim of the Vixen system. Rivers entered the bridge with an air of confidence. He was going to get answers, and he was going to get them now.*

Hail the planet, send out a friendly gesture, after what we previously went through here, I don't want another repeat, and no hostilities

Tact: Aye sir, transmitting message

Terra was sitting in her throne room when the message came in. She told the communications officer to send a message back that they would have a meeting in the throne room. Terra couldn't believe it. She would finally be able to talk to Rivers. She still wasn't sure about how to open the encrypted files on the Shadow...
Kaliandra: Do you think this is a good idea?
Terra: Yes, yes I do.

Tact: Sir, we're getting a response!

Me: Open all hailing frequencies! (yay, i finally got to say that!)

Tact: Yes Sir

Me: This is Captain Rivers of the USS Darkwing, we mean no harm and come in peace. I would like to speak to your highest government officials as soon as possible. Again, we mean no harm

"This is Queen Terra. We hear you loud and clear. You may come in to the royal throne room. I'll will send you the specifics now. I would advise you to leave any weapons on the ship, as some of us don't take kindly to strangers."
Terra couldn't believe it. She felt like jumping for joy like a brand new pup.

*Borrego looked at Rivers*

Borrego: Is this wise sir?

Me: No, but I need answers, we may have a catastrophe on our hands from what we saw in my ready room, I want to be fully prepared. Borrego, you're in charge, keep the ship here, I will take a shuttle and transport from there

*Rivers swiftly exited the bridge. Minutes later, a small one manned shuttle exited the Darkwing and head for Vixeria. Pulling the shuttle into a stationary orbit, Rivers transported into the large throne room*

Terra greeted Rivers with open arms, giving him a swift hug.
"Welcome to Vixeria. Please pardon the guards. Come with me, we have much to discuss."
Terra almost dragged Rivers as she began to talk about all that had happened since he left.

Ok, ok, ok, SLOW DOWN ALREADY! I have no idea what all you're talking about! Something important has come up, it involves the rebellion

*With this, the whole room went silent. Terra waved her hands and the guards left immediatley*

Terra was in deep discussion with Rivers.
"You know of the rebellion? Tell me. I must know. This is of great importance. Some of our histories are imcomplete and I think we know of something, but I can't get into the encrypted files on the Shadow.. It was being built during the rebellion, meant for the Queen, my mother, but when she died, it passed on to me. Rivers, if you know anything, tell me."

*Rivers looked in Mallor's direction*

Not with him around, come, somewhere private

*Rivers took terra and led her into a secret room. Terra looked bewildered, she thought she knew every square inch of this place, how did Rivers know of a room that she didn't know of?*

Terra looked around. If Rivers knew of this... then he was around during the rebellion!!
"Okay Rivers, please explain yourself."

*Rivers bent down close to Terra so that he could talk quietly without being overheard. It felt more secure, but being this close felt somehow familiar, as if from a past life*

Over two hundred years ago, your mother ruled this planet. She was kind, trustworthy, a brave leader, the people loved her. But there was unrest, a small group of people, they wanted to rule this planet and more, themselves. The queen she didn't know, until it was too late, by the time she found out, the planet was in civil war, but they didn't realise it, due to some ingenious deceptions. The queen thought she was fighting a new group, the United Federation of Planets, except there is a problem with that...

*It started to dawn on Terra, all that time being a part of Starfleet, learning its history, it couldn't be*

Borrego and I found out something interesting and dangerous

Terra: Borrego knows??!?!?

Me: Some, Terra, in the historical records of the Darkwing, it was there, the Darkwing was there.....

*There was a loud explosion, and the wall blasted off. There stood a troop of guards*

Terra: What is this?

* the guards grabbed Rivers and Terra*

*The guards dragged Rivers and Terra into a ship that was waiting on an outside landing platform. Through the smoke, Mallor could be seen running towards them. Mallor pulled out a gun and aimed. One of the guards turned around with superhuman speed, and whipped out a small blaster and shot Mallor in the shoulder, then in the leg, causing him to collapse. Mallor got off a shot, taking off the guards head, but it was too late, the ship lifted off, taking Rivers and Terra with it*

*the guards aren't vixens*

"Sir, a ship has appeared on sensor..." Said the ensign "Rivers Intercom is there..."
"What?" Said I "Can you Identify them?"
"No sir..."
"Intercept course..." Said I "Take us to transporter range... And point some frakking torpedos to their engines!"

*The Darkwing pulled up behind the speeding vessel. The Darkwing locked on to their engines, preparing to fire. Suddenly, the vessel erupted in a ball of bluish energy, and was gone, completely*

"Sir... they're gone"
"What... how they're gone?" Asked I
"Don't know sir... they just disapeared... without any explosions or anything of that sort..."
"Oh crap..." Said I "Hail the Vixens!"

not set in stone plan, but i have a general idea of its purpose

*berges was now in a state where he could resume command*

*The Darkwing sat in space for several seconds after the ship disappeared.*

Tact: Sir, unknown energy field coming this way, looks like fallout from the other vessel!

*The Darkwing was engulfed in an energy cloud, and Borrego ordered emergency warp. The Darkwing's warpfield split the energy cloud, and suddenly, the Darkwing was caught in an energy tunnel in space, with the other ship ahead of it, speeding away*

"Ensign... just follow them for gods sake!" Ordered I
"I sir..."
The Darkwing started chasing the enemy vessel...
"Hope that they wont jump again..." Said I

hey, to have a general purpose you need a specific plan, but i know that it won't come about the way i intend it to, but i have to steer once in a while, and besides, i don't want to change your character any, like you did to me, cause that wouldn't be right, i know how it feels, but since day one i've steered everybody else's characters but your and you never complained, so don't be a nincompoop!

"Sir... incoming energy blast..." The ship shaked a bit...
"Retaliate... target their weapons!" Said I
"Aye, sir"
The Darkwing started targeting their turrets, who were opening fire on the Darkwing...
"Sir... shields down to 85%!"
"Use torpedos to disable their shields!" Ordered I
"Aye sir..."
The torpedos were fired and generated beautifull tunel effects inside the time-space distortion, as both ships were engadged in a deadly combat...

Terra acted to be unconscious as she was dragged. She gave Rivers the wait single as she slowly pulled out a dagger. She waited several seconds then stuck the blade deep into the guard's neck, and flipped him over her shoulder. She then tackled the next guard and began to wrestle him for his gun. Kaliandra and several of the Vixen guards following her came into to view and opened fire on the kidnappers, killing the others and injuring one. Terra picked up Rivers and went and restrained the last guard.
"Rivers. I think it's time for good ol' fashioned interrogation time." Terra muttered to him as she dragged the guard off.
"No one attacks me and gets away with it. By the end of this, you will wish you had died with the rest of your companions."

Kaliandra walked over to Rivers and looked at him. "Your not that bad at all. Follow me, you'll want to see this." Kaliandra motioned for Rivers to follow her.

-V- they were taken with the guards. Although... Taken... i have a very strong suspicion Rivers is all behind it. Have you seen where that ship went? -V-
-V- No, we were concentrating on the Darkwing... But I'm sure nothing approached the Darkwing, not even cloaked. Maybe the Fall of Mammon and the Rise of Firefox have seen that ship. -V-
-V- Pull them into our little chatter. Oh, by the way, if the Darkwing pops up again, blast them out of the skies. -V-
-V- But... Your ship! -V-
-V- It's been defiled too much to be my ship anymore. Besides, I didn't think it up for myself anyway. -V-
-V- Oh... Anyway... Mammon and Firefox joining in, i think. oh wait, not yet, they're having trouble adjusting to our encryption. -V-
-V- Hmm. We have to make sure that the boy is safe. I'll go get him. Tell me when the Fall of Mammon and the Rise of Firefox tune in. -V-

He ran towards Mesarin's quarters. The boy was probably sleeping since it was night already, but in cases like these there's no time to bother about that.

{I'm taken great pains in not smiting your post right now. Firefox and Mammon are commanded by Terra's SISTERS and they do not have much care for you so they wouldn't even talk to you unless Terra gave the command, and you have NO military status whatsoever on this planet So I don't know what your thinking... but what do I know? And btw, another group infiltrated and kidnapped me and Rivers, disguised as Vixens. We are not the only species to have belts like that. THINK BEFORE YOU POST!!!}

oh boy, calm down kiddies. let's just say this, mallor is on the mmamon or whatever and just because things are a little chaotic or something, he's not in command, but giving orders anyways. as for mallor and security and rank and things, i always assumed he had something of the sort.


*The consoles said they were moving, but visually, nothing was moving, there was just this blue energy and the vessel ahead of them. Suddenly, the energy was gone. Borrego looked around the bridge. The Darkwing was stationary in space, and the other ship wasn't moving either.

Rviers looked around, Terra sure new how to incapacitate a lot of people quickly. Terra was shaking her head, not understanding why Vixens would do this. Rivers bent down and pulled the helmet off of one of the guards*

They're not Vixen, they look, hm

*Rivers noticed a small device on their arms. He pulled it off, revealing the true identities of the guards*

Cardassians. This smells of Berges

*Rivers went to the main console and tapped away at the controls*

Sensors indicate, nice, the Darkwing, but, where's, where's everything else? This is all wrong, planetary alignment, satellite bodies, everything, the stars as well. I'm hailing the Darkwing*

The Firefox and Mammon were having a discussion. They decided to chat with Leia, but they told her they would have no conversation with Mallor. They went off to do patrols around Vixerian space to see if any other Cardassians where present.

"When a Vixen becomes Queen, she is taught every fighting technique we know, and to never walk around unarmed. So, you were here during the Rebellion... Hm, this brings things to a new light, especially since I still don't have a royal bodyguard anyway. The guards, they just protect the city. I would wonder, if you would be willing to fill the open position until we fix what is happening here."
