Episode 2

it's been ready for months. it was designed in case the old one was compromised, before the designers were killed. even i don't know much about the systems, but from what i was briefed on before being enlisted for the Darkwing protocol, it is supposed to be a lot fancier than the old, and really ahead of its time in weapons, defence, all the tech really, but i don't know specifics

*the ship arrived at trey, ready for its mission. the prison base in orbit saw the ship coming, and sent out two defiant class guards, which were destroyed easily.* "now, let's show them who we are, captain, we will begin firing on your signal and we will beam to the base and free all vorta and jem'haddar we can find! then the base goes up in smoke."

*the endeavor pulled around the dark side of a moon orbiting a dark star. the only lights visible within lightyears, was those of the endeavor's*

Helm, slow down to 1/4 impulse power. Activate forward lighting, what we're looking for, can't be found by sensors.

*The endeavor's forward lights activated, and searched for some dark object, hidden. Rivers waited patiently, when an ensign jumped up and yelled "there!" pointing at the viewer*

Ok, calm yourself ensign. I see it. Helm, pull us in as close as you can

*The endeavor inched forward. Suddenly, a bright forcefield lit up, and the endeavor came to a full stop. The klaxon started blaring*

Shut that thing off somebody! Hm, a forcefield the size of a moon, interesting. Arm forward torpedo tubes. Fire some shots, I want to find out the size of this thing

Commander Borrego entered on the bridge, and ashtonished by the vision of the Dark Sun, started staring at the star...
"What the hell is that?"

that's a dark star, and if you look closely, you can see the Darkwing Mark 2. Weapons, fire torpedoes!

*The endeavor unleashed a volley of torpedoes, each one detonating on the force shield*

Well, no chance of getting around it. Mallor, see if you can match the force shield's frequencies and deactivate it, or at least open a hole

I see. Helm, charge up the engines, on my mark, jump to warp one for about 5 seconds, and then drop to full stop. Weapons, energize phaser banks to full capacity

Weap: But sir, we'll blow out the phaser array

Me: That's all right, after this, we won't need them. Arm torpedoes. All hands, sit tight. All right, fire phasers!

*The Endeavor fired all of the phaser batteries at one location, the shield started to ripple and warp*

Weap: Sir, phaser banks are overheating, minimal opening to the force shield

Me: Fire torpedoes!

*The endeavor fired several volleys of quantum torpedoes at the ripple, the force shield cracked, for just an instance, but it closed back up*

Weap: Phaser banks offline, force shield is... not opened

Me: DARN!

"Also though that ..." Said I "Should I bring the Marine squad to full readiness, in case someone try to board us?"

"Sir, there must be a way to open it. How else did the designers get in and out?

no, there's nobody here but us chickens borrego. Mallor, there must be some way to get in. This shield was designed to protect the mark two, but now we need it, there must be some sort of key or something

*Rivers paced for a second thinking*

Mallor, there would have to be a generator correct? now the only power source around here, that could keep a shield that size open indefinately, would be the dark star

no, all we would need to do is destabilize the star long enough to get through the shield. the star destabilizes, and power is cut from the shield. Wasn't the fed's working on installing new star monitoring devices, that possibly included probe tools that could penetrate a dark star?

"Sir, I'm done with everything. Everything that I found has been put on this disk." Terra hands Darkwing an encrypted disk.
*in a small whisper* "The password is 'Mark II'"

"Sir, that force field is used to keep the ship behind it hidden correct? Well, does this ship carry a sonic topedo? I could use the probes but they might be destroyed. If I can use a sound frequency to do a tri-location of the source that is creating the shield and I might be able to do a long-distance hack of the system to make it lower a section of the shield. I've always wanted to use this too." Terra holds up a small disk. "It's something I've never had the chance to use, and I'd love to finally test out it's capabilities."

*Rivers tapped on the command console, calling up an inventory of all the ship's probing equipment*

Here it is, there are two on board.

*Rivers tapped on the console, and then handed a padd to terra*

All this ship's equipment is here on this padd, put it to good use

"Alright, wish me luck. Can I access the command terminal? Thank you." Terra started tapping furiously on the command console, and position the ship near the forcefield. She sent out two probes to a space in front of it, and fired the two sonic torpedos at opposite ends of the shield. She inserted the disk and a voice spoke up from the console. "ICE Breaker initiated, please specify a target." Ignoring the glances from the crew, Terra kept tapping away and located the source of the shield. "Source located. Initiating long distance hack........Hack completed. The systems are under your control and under the Vixerian Empires rule. Sending the schematics to the nearest outpost." Terra never once looked up to see the faces of her comrades as she began lowering the section of the sheild in front of the ship and manuvered it inside. Terra looked up to see the Mark II sitting just inside the shield.
"Sir, it's a beauty." was all she could say.

"Ok... that thing is much more sophisticated than the old one..." Said I "But, what do we do with this ship? Put it on the Mark II place or what?"

(Do it!)

"Should I start see if the ship is secure or something, captain?"

"Cachuoedd i fy trowsus i!"

"Sorry, Ensign?"

"Oh, sorry. I mean 'Wow!'"

*The Endeavor slowly approached the sleek new darkwing, that resembled a crossover of many technologies of many races. It was almost the perfect design*

Mallor Terra Borrego, you're with me, we need to check out this ship to determine it's integrity

*The three of them headfed to the transporter room. They took with them some phaser rifles and scanning equipment....

The blue haze of the transporter beam dissapated, and Rivers looked around. Their were dim lights on, casting long and ominous shadows over the untouched surface. Rivers let out a soft whistle*

The energy source must be incredible, to keep secondary lighting on indefinately, the power core must regenerate itself! (I just had a kick butt idea!!)

*They stepped off of the transporter pad. Just as they did, a security system activated. Before the away team knew it, their phaser rifles had been vaporized by a security net*

"Ok... that scared me the poop out of me" Said I "Should we continue, sir?"

Nice security systems! Yes, we continue

*The doors swished open, and the systems lit up as the trio entered the bridge. IT was very shiny, with black plastoid plating and touch panel screens, with holographic imagery that created a 3d interface. The commande chair was lined with a shiny black surface, and the cushioning was very soft. The shape of the bridge was very sleek, almost aerodynamic, and the viewscreen was significantly larger than most fed ships, actually wrapping around the walls some*

Very, very impressive

*Rivers walked slowly around the bridge, sliding his hand along the sleek railings. The lights had an almost bluish hue, creating a very high tech atmosphere*

"Is there a bad thing happening to me?" Asked I "I think my hearth stoped with such a view..."
The console suddenly lighten up... And a new vislumber of the ship appeared...

Mallor, Terra, activate all primary systems. Rivers to Endeavor, begin transporting personnel

*Behind the dark star, out of the Endeavor's sensor range, a vessel dropped out of warp, set on an intercept course for the endeavor....*

Terra looked up from where she was sitting and stopped everything. All she could do was stare at the ship that was coming into view.

Terra, Mallor, does the Endeavor see that?

*A look of concern flashed over Rivers' face*

That's him...

*The Darkwing cloaked, rendering the ship undetectable*

I didn't think that we'd be followed, shows how wrong i could be!

*Rivers stared at the viewscreen pondering*

I have a use for the Endeavor. Set its automatic pilot, we'll use it as a decoy, as we escape out of here. We are in no position to do battle, we need to become acquinted with the ship first. How many more left to be transported aboard?

it was to allow evryone but mega to play. and getmeabeer, it would be in your best interest to follow along and read the old stuff first, because that definately doesn't fit the plot

"Activating security systems... We've someone else inside the ship" Said I

Terra looked up as that was said, and took off towards her quarters.

"All personal transported! sir!" Said I "Shouldn't we at least take a try of the weapons sistems? Like an hit and run attack?"

Terra rounds the corner to her quarters and knocks both patrolling marines unconcious and enters her room and seals the door. She sighs and looks at the person in her room.

????: Have they found out about me yet?
Terra: Not yet, but they did do a scan and found that you could be on the ship somewhere.
????: Ahh, this is great. That bloody captain won't take kindly to me being here.
Terra: That depends.... that all depends.

I'm giving up on the RPG btw.
