It's the same over here ASDA which is a subsidary of wal mart treat there staff like crap here aswell i don't know anyone who likes working there and after what everyone i know says about their jobs i may just stay on jobseekers all my life XD

If I ever work for Walmart, I'd just steal stuff while doing inventory. One of my friends worked there one summer and stole a giant box of candy bars and sold the whole thing for $100. I have no respect for the misery machine that is Walmart.

Plus, Costco's better than Walmart anyway.

@Krunchy: Here in Canada that's considered illegal, UNLESS, you don't give your notice and just up an quit, in which case they can withold your last pay cheque. My advice, take 2 week's vacation that corresponds with an entire pay period (or do it just after you received your pay) bitch them out (they won't care nd it won't make an ounce of difference, there's probably 20 people that would take your job on a moment's notice if you were to suddenly lose it) and then never show up again.

Course you probably have to have them on your resume as a reference, so bitching them out may not be a good idea for future employment.

The thought occurred to me actually. See, Wal Mart likes to fuck people over, and they did a good job of it yesterday. And then the managers got pissed? After not telling anybody to fix the schedule so their parking lot would be clear? What???? He was so frustrated that he didnt even stay the extra hour they gave him, and honestly I dont blame him.

Another thing theyve done to quite a few people (and I expect them to do this to me as well when I finally tell them to shove it up their asses) is they dont even give you your final check. Eddie knew someone that went in the back to pick up their final check, and they said "Oh, we mailed it to you." Several days pass, no check for them. Wal Mart gets a call. "Oh, we dont know where its at." Really, guys? REALLY?????

If Wal Mart treated its employees half as good as they treated their customers, theyd be in good shape. Theres only a handful of people I know of that actually make my experience there a decent one. But most of the employees there are pretty much miserable and depressed, in fact I think a quarter of the employees I know (and my ex-girlfriends mom is in this category) are high school or college dropouts.

TL;DR, Wal Mart doesnt like to communicate and most if not all of them are miserable, greedy little bitches that care only about money.

Yea dw it was partly because of that I became super busy and have since been working full time so life is slowly fitting into my new routine. In other news Christchurch is well umm screwed so will be ages untill town is back.

In other other news jls1233 is now my girlfriend again and we are getting married in a year......

Well Skype charges money for it's phone service and I've never used Skype on a mobile, but I think its chat feature and stuff still works free on phones, but I don't know.

It's free if you skype someone (skype > skype), and cheap if you use skype to phone someone (skype > conventional phone). I've only used it once on someone else's phone, but it seems quite good tbf.

The cheapest by far is landline, though. I often use that when home.
