Random Halo Fan Fic I'm Writing

Captain Jeffrey Gibbs
UNSC Odins Fury
Deep space – 14:42 EST

The Black armour, was dark as space it's self, hiding its battle scars, the only light coming from a room which just happened to have it's light on, it's engines give a burst of light, as they slowly propelled, this badly damaged behemoth, to it destination, ware it would likely be it's final resting place.

Suddenly a great flash of white appeared, almost like space was being ripped, well that was what was happening, as a Covenant Destroyer jumped right in front of the ship. “All hands battle Stations” Gibbs yelled over the intercom, a orb of red light could be seen emitting from the destroyer, “Well Captain, it seems that the success of the Odins Fury has come to an end” an female officer said as she turned back to her console “Shall I even fire a MAC round at them” she replied, knowing her impending doom.

“The past two weeks we've tried to avenge the colonists, but now we are the ones who need avenged.” Gibbs said as he lay back in his chair. The Destroyers Energy projectors was about to fire, when the ships A.I. Odin, came online.

“Captain, I can make a some what precise Slip Stream jump, to escape the Beam.” the A.I. Said rather calmly as the beam Fired. “Odin DO IT NOW!” The Captain yelled and he and the crew braced onto there seats, the ship slipped away, dew to it's heavily damaged state, the Fury had travelled no more than a one-third of a point of a light year, but it was enough to escape the beam.

“Odin can we Even win this?... or even escape” Gibbs asked as the crew tied no hear his answer. “I may be named after a God, but I’m not one” Odin replied, Gibbs even breaking a Smile. “ware is the nearest UNSC sensor net, Odin.” Gibbs asked it.

“We would reach Beta Gabriel at our current speed in 5 years, if we used our limited Slip Steam 2 days, only problem is that destroyer-

“yeah that” Gibbs interrupted, as he watched on the tactical display, it was two hundred and fifty thousand kilometres away, “If we wait, till it reaches 150km we could fire two MAC rounds into it, should bring it shields down, or at least weaken them, then open up with a salvo of our remaining Archers” the female officer butted in.

“Sounds like a plan” Gibbs said rather happily.

For some reason i didn't add a Date, i think i was going to make it 2551. And for Random Sakes EST stands for Earth Standard time. I think i should write another piece for this.

Now for something weird and wacky....

MIND SPLATTER

Mind Splatter - to me this means putting what's in your mind out there, or randomly discusing aimless thoughts using a computer keyboard until it all comes together to make one nifty conclusion. When everything that you just said that seemed to be quite random suddenly comes together, it clicks *click click* and finally makes sense. Just like a baby sliding across a canvas in his or her nappy seems quite random at first, until all the swishes, and blobs of paint unite to create a priceless piece of artwork that stirs the hearts of millions around the world and takes captive of the wallets of those who dare to be inspired by such self affirming pieces of work.

Lets face it, Mind Splatter and Art talk go hand in hand.

I must say, I love your writing style. It has a semblance of incongruity, but when you actually read every word in sequencal order rather than just skimming, it's surprisingly daedal and ethereal.

Jtull is so lucky.

Anywho... I do that also, sort of. Though I don't have a clever name for it; I have a super massive file called ".log" on my computer that I type in every morning after I study, pray, and meditate. I've been a bit lax with my schedule recently though, and it's screwing me up.

Note: it looks like you tried to create a new thread. Yeah, I think you hit the new post button within this thread, instead of in the section. Don't worry about it though, that happened to me a few times when I started the whole foruming thing. Maybe a kind mod will fix it... uhm.. mods?

Well i found out im quite good at taking any concept (no matter how rubbish it might be) and somehow make it have have some sort of meaning, thanks partly to the essays that i was made to write at school.

So yeah, i got bored and just wrote a bunch of stuff. =)

the third is control. It's quantity, quality and control and so far I haven't found an instance to which is doesn't apply. I've even asked others to see if they can't apply it to a scenario and so far no one has been able to.

I know, it's cool isn't it, the three driving factors of the human race, either on a mass or individual level. Usually it's two, like Quality vs Quantity, or Quantity and Control, I find Quality doesn't usually get paired that often though. But sometimes it's all three!
