Here, there was one pic left on an older back-up I made months ago. It's not the best pic, there was a much better one, but yeah. But now that I've found it, I'm gonna have to delete it

who is she and why must you delete?

I really wish (in some ways) that I had the better pic still, but I don't. Now if you don't mind, I shall remove the pic so I don't have to look at it every time I go to this thread

It's funny, cause this thread is really showing us how superficial as a race we are (at least for the most part)

She's a solid nine in my opinion. She's quite cute, and i love red hair.

@DW: No it's not... To be superficial, you have to only or almost only care about looks. Most people who've posted have also made it clear that they care more about brains than looks.

But yes, we're still a tiny bit superficial. If i have to choose between some fat ugly chick (like, really fat and ugly, let's say a 1/10) and a well shaped good looking one, i'd pick the good looking one, even if the fat chick is more intelligent. I'd pick neither if the one with the good looks didn't have much in the way of brains to back it up, or if she's not a good person.

I shall clarify a bit more, I meant the superficiality in that we're rating girls based on their appearance in this thread. Just an interesting thing to note is all.

As for Paltrow, I'll giver about 5, maybe a 6. Depends on how she's done up, some parts in IM2 had her looking not overly attractive, but in something like say Sky Captain, she was pretty good looking

I have no idea, was the best pic on Facebook that I could find. Most people aren't into have professional level pictures taken of themselves

Amen brotha! Just saw that last week on TV. (Well, I saw it when it came out, when I was a youngling.)

She has a sweetness about her, especially in that movie. I like it.

But I have to agree with you on that statement. If I see a cute girl in a crowd of hot girls, and the cute girl looks... different. She has a aura about her that almost says 'talk to me, I actually use my head in life, and I want to talk to someone else that does too.' I'm going to go after her, not the lot of cookie cutter people. (conformed and empty)

Then there's that exchange of quick glances across the room, until it ends up turning into a rendezvous, conversation, and the exchange of phone numbers.

I love it when that happens. That's called chemistry.

If I used a consistent pickup line, it would cheapen the whole idea of one.

You have to create a pickup line specifically for the girl that you like, and for the right occasion.

Heck, I don't think I even use pickup lines. I think I'm too witty in the first place. Hahah! (I often get myself into a conversational hole, and I end up digging myself in deeper, rather than jumping out.)

But I would have to say, I don't do to bad for myself.... I typically stay in my ballpark, and I do pretty well there. Girls are really much like us when it comes to the opposite sex. Many of them are unsure of themselves, trying to gauge how appealing they are to the guys, and trying to make themselves more appealing.

It's not all about looking good physically. It's body language, mostly eye contact. At least for first impressions. Though It's not something you can fake. People with a good eye can tell the difference between a player and a gentleman. And the women that don't care about the difference aren't worth your time (that is, if you're a gentleman). You have to become a desirable individual. Find a girl that brings out the best version of you, and just be loving and attentive.

And you can't just think that once you find a girl that you're going to automatically know how to do that. You won't be very good at it if you don't have practice. (Yes, practice)

You can practice by cleaning those dishes that your mom didn't finish because she was exhausted when she got home from work. By becoming friends with people you wouldn't typically be friends with, or even hang out with. By sitting down and reading a book to your little brother, helping the older lady get her groceries into her car, etc. In other words, go outside of yourself and try to become a better, maybe even new, person.

Now, if you can't do something like that to prepare yourself for a real relationship, than you don't deserve one.

Note: I know this doesn't really apply to you DW, but I'm speaking rather to the audience as a whole.

DJ you are a legend. I fully agree with you. the right girl should bring out the best in you. also for you young ones, I tell you most assuredly the right girl is the one you dont need to put a face on to impress.
