Your relationship won't work out very well if you put the opposite sex between you as a barrier. It's OK to recognize a good looking girl (or guy) even if you're in a relationship. The moment you have to segregate yourself because of your partner, you're doomed.

I know, I suppose the main reason I don't rate other girls that high is that I have a focus of my attention in that area so other girls dont seem that attractive otherwise.

Which is natural and good. It's just too many people can't/don't "rate" girls that high because they have a girlfriend or whatever and are afraid of misinterpretations or something, I dunno, but you can't just shut out the rest of the human race because you have a girlfriend.

oh I know, there is a line though understandably due to the mutual exclusivity of a dating relationship, I will never shut others out of my life because I have a girlfriend its both immature and will do more harm to the relationship than good.

yea, I can understand that in the first couple of months much the same way a married couple would keep to themselves for the first few months of their marriage. however after that time it becomes annoying to anyone else and in the end leaves both people who are in the relationship with no friends to be there for them if the relationship ends. This being one of the reasons for suicide after relationships.

Yeah I think nearly everyone becomes a bit exclusive when first in the relationship and i think that's understandable but ive been dating Jtull for ages i have definatly enjoy hanging out with my friends and stuff aswell, it's been really good ^.^
