Re: Favourite Music
well, a topic like that could go way off topic or have a lot of discussion so I highly doubt that the music thread is appropriate. But I'm sorry for trying to be responsible
Re: Favourite Music
Well, if you want to back up your argument, go ahead and make a thread about it, otherwise i'm just going to guess you took a potshot at it without knowing much about the subject.

Re: Favourite Music
A song I'm doing for SoR, basically the one I like the most (also doing F.I.N.E., Train Kept A Rollin', Kings and Queens, Dream On)
Also moar pop punk. Very original sounding.

I love the music they have on Fallout. 50s is just classic music, can't find it in myself to hate it whatsoever.

Re: Favourite Music
You might not love it so much if you have played the game.
imagine crawling in a dark tunnel and all of a sudden you hear a radio turn on with that music playing.
creepy

Re: Favourite Music
Yep, Fallout 1 and 2 were awesome, even better than fallout 3, but because they were isometric, they couldn't really deliver in the atmosphere department 100%. Fallout 3 however, could. Going through the capital wasteland and being ambushed by a deathclaw is fucking terryfying. Or, if you're feeling suicidal, going into the haunted building near the northwestern/southwestern(?) edge of the map... That place is made of solid fear.
Or the drugged vault... Oh god... The drugged vault... Or actually, any abandoned vault, they're fucking creepy.

These 2 men must have been completely submerged in pussy after the show. Won't be anything new for billy, though.

Re: Favourite Music
Really long time ago, yeah. It revolutionized music videos and basically gave life to MTV. Not the one we know today, the reality TV shows and stuff, but the MTV that actually played, y'know, music.
