On a more serious level, it sickens me that the Church would dictate the way people live their lives. Church members, sure, whatever, but just normal people that struggle to put food on the table and to pay the electric bill? The church needs to fuck off here. Judges 3:16-23 was the first thing I thought of when they started talking about the gruesome stuff.

What they didn't mention in that article, was that the guy that Ehud killed was probably about to, or was in the process of taking a dump when he was slaughtered. (how glorious. I want to go out that way. JK)

As for David, he indeed deserved the top spot. Probably one of my favorite bible characters. The most obvious part of him was his overall elite gangsta warriorness, and poetic talent. But he sure did go through alot of crap. He had Saul on his tail for years, and he even had many chances to kill the turd, but he didn't because Saul was 'God's anointed one'. Then, that turd and David's buddy, Johnathan were out fighting the philistines, and they got surrounded by archers, and decided to fall upon their swords. Good news, Saul is gone, bad news, david's best bud is dead. And the war is still goin on, and David is all screwed up... and it's just terrible.

Later on David got himself into some trouble too, but that's another story....

Anywho, yeah, great article!

well, kindness and courtesy are nearly non-existent these days so I guess in the end, it doesn't really matter who you want to be. At least you know and understand who you are and won't let people hold you back from being yourself.
