Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Woot for the National Policy, though not still in effect, has conditioned we Canadians to buy and sell from ourselves
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
The UK have a strict political policy towards war (America are in there lets get killed by both sides and bow in awe.)What pisses me of most is the uk was a huge empire now its a disbanded prophylactic that the US occasionally reuse because they have no others left...it could be worse the ukip or bnp could get in that would be the end.

Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Every empire must fall, it's sort of a rule of history, as we can even see, the US is nearing the end of its run, may take a decade or two, but it could be that close to being down (maybe even closer)
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
I wonder how that National Policy works for prostitutes?Darkwing wrote:Woot for the National Policy, though not still in effect, has conditioned we Canadians to buy and sell from ourselves
Look up at your avatar, now back at mine, back to yours, now back to mine. Your pants are wet, I'm on a horse.
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
I have no idea what turning our avatars into a Old Spice ad has to do with anything. My avatar is obviously the cooler one, cause Clint Eastwood is the man
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
I guess that when the US empire falls, things are actually going to be worse, since China would only care about its profits, nothing more...
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Ok, your avatar is exempt. Clint Eastwood, I'd have to admit, is way more awesome than I am.Darkwing wrote:I have no idea what turning our avatars into a Old Spice ad has to do with anything. My avatar is obviously the cooler one, cause Clint Eastwood is the man
When didn't China only care about profits?JPB18 wrote:I guess that when the US empire falls, things are actually going to be worse, since China would only care about its profits, nothing more...
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
2000 years ago I think. Y'know, the whole be at one with thyself thing and all that feng shui type stuff
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Actually, they only started caring exclusivelly about profits after the Communist Revolution (how ironic, hum?), since only after that they become a consederable power, because of the investments the government made on industry and others... And since then china has been a mix between the wildest Capitalism (sometimes even wilder than Wall Street Capitalism) and the worse of Communism...
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Well China has through history always been pretty powerful in terms of economy. Remeber everyone wanted to trade with China because they had the spices and all kinds of fun things, so China has always been a pivotal part of anyone's economy it would seem
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
But they didn't cared exclusively about profits... They were a people who highly respected their traditions and honor above all... Now... They throw that out easilly for just a couple of bucks...
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Oh yeah, I was just saying how they've always been powerful in a sense
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
the only thing that upsets me with China is the fact they will never go and do science for the sake of science like America does. come on! It will leave Science to well the swiss. ( Go fermilab!)

just take a look at this bit: The new legislation also recognises astrologists, embalmers, valets and driving instructors as legitimate occupations for taxation purposes.

Excellent.... Now you will have la vie en rose stuck in your head for the rest of the week.
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Wall-E, fantastic movie! Probably my favourite Pixar one, but Incredibles is a very close second
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
I have to agree with you Wall-E is one of the best animated films ever.
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity

Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Yeah, the shorts were very good...well except for UP and the one on Toy Story 3. Like clever animation, but I dunno, just didn't sink it for me. Like the one, what was it, Presto and of course the Chess one, that's classic
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
the day and night one from toy story 3 was boring

Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Yeah, like the overlapping effect and stuff was cool, but, yeah, it wasn't overly good compared to the other ones they've made
Re: New General Chat Mark Infinity
Oh God, my mind is completely corrupted...I had to double take when I read this:

My god... The entire internet... And the power to swedish chef it all is at my fingertips... *Sniffles and wipes a tear* i love you so much right now man. Not touchy feely love. Just the love that normally arises when a man gives another man the power to unleash Swedish chef on any webpage in existence.
Also, just came home from Egypt. Completely spent from the journey. Things are going back to normal from tomorrow on, school, gaming and activity on this forum.
