Part I

Van Toren held up a small comm device

"Yeah, we already know"

"WHO'S THERE?!?!" Van Toren yelled again.

What I'd give for a sidearm Van Toren thought.

"Ill go find out." I said. I droped everything i was carrying (my gun and my sword), then i kicked in the door. I ran into the dark room, there was a gunshoot and some loud noises. Suddenly my voice emerged, very loud, "Who are you, and why are you here."

The man replied "Im J... James. Please let me go, im hiding from Severus'es men".

I pushed James out the door and asked Torren "Do you know him?"

Van Toren shook his head.

"Never seen him before"

Van Toren grabbed James by the collar

"Does anyone know you're here?!"

"Hey, Toren, relax... we're not still fighting, ok?" Said I...

"Oh, we're fighting more than you know. Secrecy is currently our only weapon and if we lose that, then I might as well go back to my exile"

"Hmmm... Ok, I'm sorry! By The Way, if you wanted secrecy, it should have been better not to took me... My parents shall be yelling to the autorities in a few hours, so... Hurry up..." Said I...

Van Toren rolled his eyes

"Ok. thanks for the heads up" Van Toren said sarcastically.

"All right, we haven't much time, you, what's your name, James? You're coming with us. Addar, we got double time it, around here is a building with a basement, there should be small arms that we can fill the ship up with. Make sure you get ammunition! I'm going to head east with the Nightcrawler, we gotta fuel up."

Van Toren pulling James by the arm dragged him into the Nightcrawler as Addar headed in the direction of the buildings.

"Power up the ship, take us east, there's a fuel depot about 5 clicks from here"

"Ship is powered, cargo bay secored, we're lifting..." Said I

While I waited for them to get the fuel and come back for me, I whistled a nice tune.

Van Toren held onto a hand rail and kept the hatchway open. The wind blew in Van Toren's face as the ship headed for the fuel depot. He surveyed the area. Some birds could be seen swirling in the air above. The ship made a turn and Van Toren could see the depot in the distance

"I have it in sight!" Van Toren yelled to the cockpit

FIXED

Addar's not with us

"We're now landing on the coordinates, boss..." Said I...

The ship landed softly near the fuel depots...

Van Toren jumped out. He went over to a large pipeline and pulled a long hose out. He connected it to one of the engines of the ship. He then activated the fuel pump.

"I'm going to hunt around and see if there are any portable fuel cells kicking around, just as spares"

While whistling I got this feeling of doom. I knew there was a very fast motorcycle in the building because i built it. I jumped on and headed for the fuel outpost, more than one gun in hand.

"Aye, Boss... I will be guarding this pucket of bolts..." Said I "Also, don't forget this..." while trowing him an handgun...

"Damn it I'm a tactist not a scout", muttered Vex Valkyrie as he trotted through the snow. He was either on the North Pole or the South Pole...and he knew that neither was appealing. He heard a low growl.....What was that? "Who's there", he said, plunging his hand into his pocket...in seaerch for a weapon.

While 'exploring' the ship, Borrego found a door... A weird door, with letters wrote on it... but he couldn't see what it was... He opened the door... He couldn't believe what was there: a full arsenal, enough to hold a small skirmish for hours... if not days...

"Boss... I think our problems with weapons have finished..." Said I... "I found an armory on this ship..."

"Excellent. Prepare the ship, I've found some fuel cells and am on my way back"

As Toren entered the cockpit, I asked him...

"So, this will be our new home from now on, huh?"

"The Nightcrawler? Yeah, it's gonna be more than just a home, it's going to be headquarters, it's going to be a symbol. Come, let's get Addar, we have much work ahead of us"

"And few time... I must try to send an e-mail to my parents... I will ask them not to overreact... Unless you've any objection?" ASked I...

The nightcrawler took off...

"Unfortunately, we can have no contact with anyone, not yet. That's why I had to bring James with us"

"Hmm... Ok..." Said I... "Let's hope they don't remember searching so far away..."

I landed the nightcrawler...

"Back already?" We loaded the supplies I had gathered. "Whats next on our amazing adventure captain president man." I laughed at my joke.

"I am just an engineer and a weapons exspert, i just want to take back this planet, if your ship is damaged i can help fix it, there is a ship not to far from here, it is crashed and most of the parts dont work anymore, i can use them to help fix your ship"

"We have to try and find some people, I don't even know if any of them are still alive. All right, let's go and get off this planet. We got enough fuel and supplies for a few months so we should be good in that regard."

Van Toren closed the hatch and secured the seal

"An engineer could be helpful. This is an old model ship, very old. Get acquianted with it"

"No problem, old things are me specialty, i once worked on an old transport vessel, it was careing, well that is not important......anyway i have seen milions of this ship and i can fix any problem, from hull breaches to ftl drive problems."

"Wow, we've a guy with a big belly on board..." Said I to Addar... While I got out of the ships controls... "Your turn to fly it..."

I went to my bed room, meditate a bit...

"there is a mercenary outpost a few sectors away. They have parts and people, we should check there. Unfourtunatly, its an ice planet." I then took the controls and headed that way.

Van Toren sat in the pilot's chair and took the throttle.

"Back when I was forming the New Order, I was captured by a man by the name of Bayhes, commando, best there was. I was kept a prisoner on this ship. Unfortunately he didn't see that it was part of my plan. After we attacked the government and overthrew it, he attempted to kill me. He failed. I was told by Severus that he had been killed. He's exactly the man I need. I need Michael Bayhes."

I just couldn't keep my thought away from that dream... The worst is... I never knew any girl like she was... Never saw such beauty, but in my dreams I behaved like I knew her...

"I don't know her..." Thought I "From where does that dream keep showing up?"

Van Toren sat back in the copilot's chair

"Unfortunately this isn't one of my best plans. I spent all those years planning for my overthrowing of the government and had it stolen by Severus."

Van Toren slammed his fist on the arm-rest

"I hand picked him. I should have seen it, he was always power hungry."

"This merchinary outpost, is it in sector 23 Alpha by any chance, because i know a guy, who can get us a landing port, and a ship the same model as this one, we can use it for parts, fix this one up, he also can get us some currency so we can make our way in the galixy"

"This is the ship we're using, this ship is far more important than you can understand. One reason being it's customized to the teeth."

James sat down at the Engineers seat and looked at Van Toron

"I have noticed, the Thruster Assembly is held together by a rubber band, a toothpick, and some glue, i suggest we go to the outpost, by a newer thruster assembly atleast, the engines you have are ready to fall out of the ship. And the FTL drive's Fuel is highly toxic, and the containment is ready to fail, along with the main power grid, we need to atleast fix this ship up if we want to stand a chance agenst the New Orders ships."

He stood up, pressed a few buttons on the consel, the lights dimmed, and many other things shut down

"We will need this power later if you dont want to stop for repairs"

Listening to Within Temptation, in it's media player, he kept thinking on the enigma that girl posed to him... He looked at the handgun he had next to him... "How many times was it used to kill other humans?" was I questioning... It had a full clip, but that didn't meant anything... I placed it in a safe place... I didn't wanted to get accidentaly injured by it...

I lowered back to the flight deck... In the front of the ship, we could see the subspace rift the ship created... It was the FTL system of that craft... There was a killing silence... So I spoke...

"Ey! What's happening here?" Asked I...

"Borego, take controls. I'm going to get some sleep."(so here is what im thinking as far as monney system goes. (6 pueds = 1 trid; 10 trids = 1 ningy ))

I abruptly woke up. A dream of my death awoke me. There were no details, no faces, no signs, no guns, no color, only my death. I woke and murmured to myself "I will long for you[death] long before you will find me. I have no illusions of immortality, but sometimes i wonder, how much longer do i have to bear this burden.". I walked to the bridge to find Borrego.

"Thought were were going to get some shut eye" he said.

"couldn't sleep" Addar replied.

Van Toren was currently piloting the ship.

"We're almost to the outpost. Let's hope they don't shoot first and ask questions later"

Van Toren throttled back and the ship jumped into normal space.

"Me neither..." Said I... "Anytime I close my eyes, It's only to dream about a girl... A girl which I bet I never saw in my life, in a planet that I never saw... But I behave like if it was all normal to me... I just can't understand it..."

I turned to the intercom...

"This is the NightCrawler, requesting permission to enter in dry dock..."

"NightCrawler, please hold... There's a ship leaving dry dock three, ETA 15 mins..."

"Great. James, see if you can get into contact with your friend before we dock. Addar, grab some automatics from the arms locker, just in case"

"Turn Back" i wispered

"What" Van Said

"Turn Back" i yelled as i grabbed the controls and the ship learched forward and spun

"This station is so remote it is almost impossible that all of the spaces are full" i said just as a squad of New order Fighters flew past us and bagan a bombing run

"I am going to the Aft gun port, get us out of here"

I began shooting at the fighters hoping we would leave soon

"I didn't dream"I said but borrego know i was lying. "Aye captain" and i left to get some guns.

"Warming up the FTL!! It'll take about five minutes, I'll try to shake them!! Addar, grab the side chaingun, keep them from hitting the fuel tanks!"

"Evasive maneuvres started... I'm trying to optimize your firing angles... But I will take pririty on the tanks..." Said I...

The ship shuttered violently with each shot, "That last shot ruptured our Fuel Lines, i can repair it b........"

Just then a giant ship came out from behind a cloud in orbit

"OHHHHH SH*T" i yelled "That is an M4 Class New Order Destroyer, we are no match" as a fighter flew by a shot hit the aft gunport and james flew halfway through the ship "Help" i barely managed to say before i passed out
