I cant decide if i want to move to Canada or Australia in 8-10 years.

Canada, more things to do.....and AC costs more depending on what heater you use so......go to canada, it is colder so you spend less money

Actually, i do like the cold. If i lived in canada, i would move farther north than most people.

Screw maple syrup, you had me at root beer. Seriously though, i think i might move to another country... Some... Time. I dont know, perhaps after school (high school too), or maybe later. I doubt i can get into canada though... You know, immigration laws and all that.

I'm not touching australia with a 40 foot pole though... At least not while atkinson that frakking pillow biter is still around. Or the retarded age rating laws are still in effect.

canada's fairly OK with the immigration laws, there are a lot of immigrants in Canada. But I would definitely do a whack of research on Canadian history as I saw a copy of the test a few years ago and it had questions I didn't know the asnwers to. But I think they have made it easier since then due to some petition or something.

Hmm, that's both really crap and really good. It's good because i wouldnt have much of a problem getting in, but it's also bad because you're going to have a steady stream of immigrants and refugees if the test is too easy. Like, learn the language and a tiny bit of western history easy.

I might not move at all, I may just join NOAA and do ocean research all over the world.

But even if i did pass the test, i'd probably have to go back to school for like a year before i can take a job... Or at least i think you have to get reschooled if you graduated in another country. I think it was like that for my parents when we moved here.

And besides, there's a chance i'll join the army. If i do, i'm not going to be moving anywhere.

your best bet is to have a place to go. if you just come into canada, take the test and pass, you could end up in an immigration center for years because you have no one to take you in. Probably one of the easiest ways to get into Canada is to enroll in a Canadian university and apply for residency at the University, then when you immigrate, it's for education reasons and you have a place to go. Course I don't know exactly how well this works as I never immigrated

I'd always liked Canada. Might move there when I retire, but for now not a chance. As for Australia, I don't like being that bored.
And Thingy, don't join the army. It messes you up. Sometimes in more ways then one.

Other than seeing a few corpses and having long boring talks with tribe elders, i dont see how the army is going to mess me up. The swedish army doesnt really do any dangerous OP's in afghanistan, or any other place for that matter. It's basicly just peace keping. Of course, there might come a time when the swedish army will have to actually do something other than frak around, but still. That shouldnt be too much of a problem.

For now its ok, but one war is all it takes.

Canada is freaking cold, Mexico is freaking hot, and is full of people that like killing/robbing/stealing white people.

All of the other countries are far away.

The states are pretty nice though, it's hard to get bored with traveling between them when you have 50 of them. (Well, 48 of them are close)

Aaah... Good old schengen... Lots of different cultures, climates and countries only a plane ticket away... Got to love the union. I've been to switzerland, austria and egypt. Planning to see more of the world though. Maybe take a trip to germany after school since i speak german...

I'm great at learning languages, so i'd have top grades if school was only about language. But, unfortunately, there's other stuff. Like music, which i'm horrible at, science, which is kind of OK, and math... Ugh... I hate math with a passion.

CANADA IS NOT FRAKKING COLD!!!! Get that stupid stereotype out of your tiny american brain. It is only cold in the winter, and how cold it is depends on what region you're in. No, it's not like some tropical paradise, and all of Canada gets snow in the winter, some places worse than others though. This idea of Canada always being cold is ridiculous, it's not much colder in most of the states than in Canada, in fact, a bunch of places in the states is worse than Canada from what I can tell.

The system is way messed up. acording to the government, officially things like Global warming and El Nino dont exist. But the science says they do. Dumb government people make stupid laws that say that any data that is not quantitative is not real, then they make budget cuts to stop quantitative data almost impossible to get. Essentially stopping anyone from proving them wrong.

And another thing on global warming before anyone make any stupid arguments, You need to read all of this. Global warming is real, not one scientist has ever said otherwise (government and oil company have, in order to create doubt) anyways, Global warming is happening. The argument is whether its our fault or not. So dont say it isnt happening and get an education. (Note: you may say that it is natural and not our fault)

I agree with that point of view. partly, i agree that the earth can heal itself but i still think we should cut back on pollution, its still bad for the environment.

well, yes and no. I think unless we like blow the planet up, Earth will heal, it just takes time. Yes, we should cut back on pollution and whatnot, but nobody gives Earth much credit, despite the fact it's been around longer then humans
