the same with movies. that's partly why i don't like modern film as much is because it's becoming too realistic. film was meant to be entertainment, to get away from real life, not bring it closer.

Well, yes, i dont think the game industry should make all their games realistic, but a break from the normal unrealistic games is nice every once in a while. And when it comes to Heavy Rain, i think it's going to be a very refreshing break from the normal break stuff kill things routine. Just too bad it's PS3 exclusive and i only have a computer...

The force unleashed is actually just a normal break stuff and kill things game with platform elements pasted to it. What i'm talking about is a story focused game, kind of like a choose your own adventure movie with quicktime events. In my opinion, they're the best of both worlds when done right. The freedom of a game and the story focus of a movie.

The normal style of gameplay is good, but i think the industry could use a little variation. You know, not only RPG FPS Strategy and their sub genres.

Oh, i thought you meant platforming... Heh. But if we're lucky, Heavy Rain might get a PC port, like Halo. They said it was going to be XBOX exclusive, but they ported it anyways.

it's because we haven't been active for over 3 months. I can't just put the site on google, it has to be active to attract google bots and work our way up through the search rankings. It will most likely take some months for it to happen

Yeah.. if you ever decide to look at the bottom of the forum ever so often, you'll notice bots like MSN and Google. They scout the forum for search reasons. Though, I did notice this once on a linky advertisement on my windows live messenger xD

I dont think people go through the old threads. It's just that here is more familiar than the connexion, or something like that. I dont fully understand it myself.

Anyways, i wont be on much for the next couple of weeks. We have the national exams (kind of like the final exams in the US and canada), so i wont have much time for anything other than studying.
