Re: General Discussion
Aaah yes... Friday... Sigh... I'm so close to my weekend mass effect 2 marathon... Yet so far away... We have the national exams in swedish on tuesday. According to some former 9th graders i know, they're a real pain in the ass. So i'll have to prepare... But i bet i can squeeze some ME2 in there.

Re: General Discussion
I'm seeing if I can convince my parents buy me the ME2... but it seems a useless fight, cause they're not inclined into that... Ah well... maybe I get more luck with SC2...
Re: General Discussion
No... You save up money and buy that damn thing, even if it costs you your life. It's that good.
Okay, i was kidding there, so it's not. But it is one hell of a great game. You should get it before you get SC2.

ME2 is not all that it's cracked up to be.... I wouldn't pay even $5 for it anyway...

Hmmm... I dont know... My game collection (which i started back when i was 7. And this includes all the consoles) should total 10,000 kr by now... Hehe... If you include the gaming PC, 22,000.
@Terra are you serious? You wouldnt pay 5 bucks for one of the best RPG's this year? Or at least a great one? But really, what was it you didnt like?

Re: General Discussion
HAHAHA! FREEDOM! I HAVE FREEDOM! No more backbreaking homework! No more studying for tests! No more essays on shakespeare! And an entire weekend of mass effect 2! (except saturday... I'll be losing that day to non mass effect related activities with a friend... Sigh...).
I'm so happy right now! It's like someone took a 5 ton boulder off my shoulders! Now excuse me, i'm going to hug everything in sight, then go kill a polar bear. That's how we celebrate here in sweden, go out and kill a polar bear. Otherwise the streets would be overcrowded with polar bears. I might also make snow angels. Naked.

Thingy, you've spent more on games than the cost of an average car.

What? No... Not here in sweden. 10 kr is 1 pound. It's actually the cost of an average gaming rig.

10 000 Swedish kronor = 852.522482 British pounds
That's according to google. So it's not alot really. Although it could be worth more than that... Maybe 15,000....

Yeah, i doubt you can spend 100,000 on games even if you buy all the games that have come out for the last 10 years.

Yes I have... and I hated it... I'm may be a Roleplayer online, but in games I love the horror... Kiyo owns Mass Effect and loves those kind of good/evil RPGs...

To each his/hear own. I personally love RPG's.
And i think you'd like bioshock, it's a mix of shooter and horror game with some mild RPG elements mixed in.

Re: General Discussion
It's coming out very soon. But you should try the first before you get the 2nd. I've played it myself, and it's great. Can feel a little lacking in the scaryness department at times, but sometimes it does it just perfectly. It should be quite cheap by now, so it's definitely worth a try.

Re: General Discussion
Oh, if you're looking for creepyness, bioshock is definitely what you want. It's not good at pure horror (ala fatal frame, never try it if you want to keep your brain scarr free), but it's enviroment is pretty much pure creepyness. The abandoned city, the splicer's mad ramblings and the city/ocean sounds makes one hell of a potent mix...

Re: General Discussion
Hmmm... Creppy Games isn't my wave (really... I almost pooped myself two years ago playing God of War...). I prefer RTS games (Starcraft, AOE, Sins of a Solar Empire, etc) and strategy shooters (COD4, BF2, etc).

Re: General Discussion
Hmmm... If I start making a list of them... I might never get out...
I think I should give a try at Bioshock... As soon as I end Starcraft and Brood War campaigns...

Re: General Discussion
Hm.. I've been wanting to play Starcraft for a while now, having had what fun out of the flash one I played a while back..
Re: General Discussion
StarCraft is indeed one of the better RTS games Ive played. I was actually planning to do an animated series wit it but I decided to start ELZ first.
Re: General Discussion
and good thing you did, look at the interest in the project, and it's all ours, like nothing is copyrighted, it's all our own material to do with as we please, it's simply beautiful!
Re: General Discussion
You said it. I remember starting ELZ because I felt that playing in a universe that would be totally new would be much easier than one thats already been done, and boy did I make the right choice starting it.
Re: General Discussion
the ideas we're coming up for this series is truly terrific, like the Skype discussion we had last week about the Erez'Mortai, and Rose Sharpe, it's a lot of fun. I love the freedom we have, something like freedom isn't easy to come by in the film industry
Re: General Discussion
Rose Sharpe :3 yay for having a character that is female... <-< base her really evil moods after me xD

Re: General Discussion
Well, if that happened there would be a lot of dead bodies during some of the more intense rages... I myself usually leave the room to save my own skin..
Anyway, it's snowed here.. again.. for the 2nd week in a row... and it's starting to get highly annoying now..

Re: General Discussion
It's very cold, that's for sure... first though, today, it rained, then turned to snow... that annoyed me the most
Re: General Discussion
Thats certainly no fun. Especially freezing rain. I actually got caught in freezing rain once...good thing I was wearing a heavy coat. It was coming down pretty hard.
Re: General Discussion
if it rains here, it does 1 of 2 things: Barely rain at all, or full on downpour.. we live in a valley, so it kind of sucks.
Re: General Discussion
I live in a small, open town, away from all the excitement. Its far too boring and a tad too cold for me. Thats why Ive been thinking of moving south sometime in the next ten years.

Re: General Discussion
Yeah, i'm leaving vallentuna as soon as i can too. But not because of the weather, it's sleepy as hell here. The most exciting thing that happens here is the farmers market...
And i'm having the national test in swedish tomorrow... My entire swedish grade is going to be hanging on it. If you fail any of the national tests (except the science test), there's a pretty big chance you wont even be able to apply to high school...

Re: General Discussion
Should be the hardest swedish assignment there is from 1st to 9th grade. And the biggest problem is that you cant study for it... There are no facts to read up on or anything like that, it's supposed to test your analytic skills and your intelligence.

Re: General Discussion
Nope, one time only, fail the test and your grade will go to hell. It can of course be salvaged if you've done good on the other exams and written good assignments. It can be a boost to your grade though if you do good.
