Mission 1: The Finding of The Lost Hybrids

"Better have been.Alright marines, establish a perimeter and please don't die.I didn't bring any body bags after all."
Psycho followed john to Analise, who was still in a discussion.

*Waits for Terra to post... err... for Analise to notice them*

Analise sighed and looked over at Psycho
"Sir, this man is no threat to us. Though I did hear that Julius died.Real Shame " Analise starts giggling. "I'm sorry, but this is a happy day!! Anyway sir, we lost Ben Dres as well.. and John." Analise walked over to him and smacked him across the face. "Any jokes towards me will NOT be tolerated."

"Whoa..someones pissed.But we lost Ben?DARN.I bet him a tenner he would survive this.As for that guy, who is he then?'

"That sir, I haven't found out. I was asking what he was doing here first." Analise looked around.
"And sir.. I think we should get moving......" The rest of her sentence was cut off as a loud screech filled the air again.

"Yeah, that sounds like a good idea." Replied Psycho as a black swarm emerged from the top of a nearby hill and headed towards them.

(Terra must have ESP ((Extra Special Powers)) because I didn't say it in her presence. )

(She has hearing aids)

(She must have REALLY good hearing aids to hear through half a forest alive with animals.)
John tossed a few grenades over to the swarm. Then he checked his belt. Thermal, EMP, Concussion, Vaporizing Grenades... but no frags. "Oh, Oh! GET DOWN!" He yelled just as thousands of sonic-speed projectiles spewed from the grenades and ripped holes in his personal armor.

"Bollocks!I nearly got another free lobotomy!"
Psycho got up and started firing into the swarm, whilst shoving Analise behind him.

Analise fell and she pulled out her P-90 and fired into the swarm, taking the head off of one giant wasp.

"Ahh, I can't feel my..." A marine medic leaned over him. "Where does it hurt?" She asked over sweetly. John's eyes shot open. "Get the HELL AWAY FROM ME!"
The medic shook her head. Works every time... John started spraying bullets into the swarm along with the rest of the soldiers. "Ma'am, advise retreating, or calling Meganew to uber for us, even though he's dead, or getting help from those people you were flirting... err... talking to.

"If we weren't in a battle right now, I would have put in a isolation cell for that remark." Analise cursed as her P-90 ran out of ammo and she stab her combat knife into the chitin-armoured insect in front of her.

"Yeah, i suggest a vigorous jog, good for the health."
Psycho continued spraying the swarm with bullets but more kept on coming.
"DAMN!Its like Hong Kong here!"

John mindlessly killed. And killed. "You know sir, my grandma lives in Hong Kong..." The alien invaders started to thin, wavering before his mighty Hong Kong might! Or maybe that was just his vision...

In reality, the swarm was only growing by the thousands.
"All marines, this is Psycho, i want you all through the gate now!Analise you, go ahead, I'll try and hold them."
Psycho turned and pulled out a pistol as well as his SCAR, firing volleys of bullets into the swarm.

John looked enviously at his officer's weapon. "Can I nuke the place now sir? PLEEEEEEEEEASE?!?!?!

P.S. on my character bio I am quiet. Never mind that. I will be every bit as annoying as I am in real life.

Analise leaped off the back of one dead bug onto another bug, impaling her knife into it's thorax.
"Nah, I'm having too much fun... This is my REVENGE FOR MY TEAM!!"

John followed Analise, figuring she was leading by example. "But ma'am, if they have nukes we can get into a nuclear war! Don't you love those," John gushed as the insect he had stabbed gushed gore.

That's it.

Julius, whom everyone thought dead earlier, drove the 2000 Voyager up to the team. Julius then got into the Boulton Paul turret, and started blasting away at the insects with the turret's 4 .30 in. (7.62mm) machine guns.

"Suit Yourself.As for nukes, i forgot the TACgun.Since you dont have a nanosuit or Analise's skills, you should fall back through the gate."
Psycho Activated Strength mode, and started punching the creatures.

Analise looked up at the sky. It was slowly becoming daylight and the swarm was decreasing..
"Come on, we can hold on a little more.. they stop showing up around dawn."

While the team was holding out, there were clearly problems occurring. The biggest one was that most of the troops had run out of ammo for their weapons. Even the 2000 Voyager's Boulton Paul turret(Which is of British design!) was running low on ammo: there were only 200 shells left to divide evenly over 4 guns.

"Oh sh*t..." said Julius, as he used up his last 200 rounds. "I'm out of ammo. Anyone have .30 or .303 cal. bullets on them?"

"Nope!"
Psycho threw Julius a pistol instead and continued to use strength mode to pick up and throw the creatures.

"No sir, but I happen to have a mini gun with portable sidewinder missiles and about 9 million 50 cal tungston carbide bullets!" As every one glanced at him he sighed. "J..O..K..E. Jeez!..."

Analise looked around while the chaos continued.. And leaped at a insect and tried to wrestle it to the ground.

"If we hold out, i promise I'll have my little friend next time."
Psycho continues to kill the bugs, but got bitten on the leg.
"Bollocks!Eat Nanosuit strength mode Bug!"
He punched the bug, and his hand went all the way through
"Ugh..That's one thing i didnt need to feel."

(Yes. I DRY to wrestle insects too...)

John shot the big bug and smiled grimly. "Under normal circumstances, I would make an obscene joke right now. Better get going. The bugs only dislike the light, they don't shrivel up and die. Sadly."

"We only have to hold for a few minutes, looks like the nights here are really short." Psycho yelled as he swung a bug around by its head, into all the surrounding ones.

"But sir, we still need to secure the transmitter from the ship! Remember, the one on page 3? ... err... on the cruiser? I hope it has some Barney in it..." The marines stare at him again... *Sigh* "I'M FREAKING JOKING AGAIN!!! For Christ's sake..."

Analise looked around as the rest of the bugs scattered..

"That ship exploded remember?"

"It did?Hell, for once it wasn't the US marines that screwed up.But I'm not going anywhere yet.This bite went right through my leg, i need a medic.."
Psycho stumbled off towards the gate where some marines had disobeyed his order.

"Duh, but I have the recorder." John reached into his pack and pulled out a standard recording device. "And a holoprojector." John also pulled out a holoprojector. "And an Xbox." Pulled that out too. "Plasma screen" Got it. "And if I have any left... AHA!!! Cookies for everyone!!!

Julius grabbed a cookie, put it into his mouth, and ate it.

"Mmmm... These aren't half bad!" said Julius. "Here, you want one?" he said to an insect.

The insect ate the cookie, then exploded.

"Yes! Strangely, crack dealers have lots of cookies." 0.o "Ok then. Let's see what's in this recorder." He attached it to his holoprojector and a large starmap appeared on the ground. Although the starmap seemed standard, there were a few dozen unknown planets on it. The holoprojector focused on one in particular. It was covered in water. It zoomed in more, and into an underwater paradise. Fish zipped back and forth, and sharks lazily streaked through the water. A monstrous shadow darkened the picture, and the animals scattered. The recording fell into static.

"What was that?"

"Who knows. Probably something that could kill us in an instant. If Terra was online more often, she could actually make Analise know what it is." People didn't even look, seeing as how he must have been joking. Again.

"Good point." said Julius. "Now I need to come up with another way to turn Terra's character blue." Now everyone was staring at John and him.

In unison they said... "WE'RE FREAKING JOKING!"

Julius gave John a high-five.

Analise sighed. This was getting nowhere. She began to walk off and kicked a bugs head into a tree.

"Okay, Analise, are there any hostile bugs left? Except for this one..." Julius said as he pointed towards MNIM's character, er... Jack.

(Mares? You keep horses?)

John sighed. "Sirs, and... thing, first priority is to get the heck of this rock. Second is to check out the planet and why the recording was on a Wraith ship."

"For some reason I can just imagine them sipping cocktails and laughing at us. I can also imagine that jerk tripping off a cliff. To bad that one isn't realistic..."

"I guess..." said Julius. "Hey, why does everything seem sluggish to me?"

(Stop dropping the subtle hints to tell people to post. They will post when they feel like it.)

(I stopped a while ago. I'm gonna watch Stargate until the RP picks up pace again...)
