i think it's stupid them only making games for console. why are they forgetting us pc users? if it wasn't for the pc user, these console games wouldn't have the popularity that they have

I bet they'll make a PC port, they probably dont want to miss millions or hundreds of thousands of people who only have a PC. It doesnt sound like something i'd like though, they've alredy been through every planet, enviroment, character and movie that has anything to do with star wars, only way to go now is to milk the franchise till it dies then milk it some more (That's something lucas doesnt seem afraid of doing, take the new clone wars animated movie as an example)

i generally find that when a game has more than one sequel it tends to start losing it's touch battlefront is going strong but these
days a lotta things are losing it's touch...
i was hopin it it would be on pc but oh well...
it was pretty likely that it would be on console anyway
about two years ago there were rumors about a battlefront 3 for 360 and ps3
what would the story be anyway(if it's in the vid i dunno cause it say the format is not supported)

the only thing im scared about in this game is that it might recieve the big fat M. i think it can escape that, but with other games that have recieved that have actually graphics similar to BF3. but, its star wars, so never any blood (always a good thing when escaping the M)

Not really, that depends on what game. If the game has a huge world and backstory, like the fallout world, it can have alot of sequels (though 5 is the max, unless there's more to explore. Fallout is alredy on the third game and all the games together have only explored 4 citys. Washington DC (3), chicago (1 or 2...) and to other west coast citys. If you count the DLC's, fallout 3 has been in new york, washington DC and alaska ( pre war alaska, in a simulation). But some games just HAVE to die at the 2nd sequel... like star wars battlefront

Who cares? it's all the same stuff, either a bunch of clone troopers/storm troopers fighting on a new battlefield or, if they get REALLY creative, they'll add in a native or two. They're just obviously trying to milk it as far as it can go till they have to just let it die.

i dont... you can do that with mods. BF3 was just an attempt at milking that last microscopic milk drop from the star wars franchise. I'm glad it's dead, and i hope it leaves a spot for a new, better game.

But i doubt it, lucas arts are idiots. They even cancelled sam and max! if it wasnt for the company that picked it back up, they'd be dead.

clearly DW has the most info here. As for my point... BF3 would be amazingly awesome. Star wars is very cool as it is one of 3 SciFi "worlds" that are/were successful in the last 100 years. (actually its a universe but...). My full point: Star wars has been milked but it still has value.

if it's cancelled on the major platforms it's dead. The mobile doesnt matter. And neither does the DS

well, the full version BF3 was going to be very cool. I saw a demo vid of it back in January and man it was sweet, the graphics were much better and it looked like you could do much much more than in BF2
