Why star wars, star trek etc wont happen

Okay, i've seen alot of idiots arguing about which show would beat which and a whole bunch of idiots (or just retards) who think star wars or star trek is real (none on this forum by the way) and alot of ST vs SW threads on this site, where people used realism as an argument. Well, it's time to drop the atomic bomb. This stuff is (mostly) pure facts.

I totally agree! They are completely unrealistic, but that's why it's called Science FICTION! I'm upset about you calling everyone on the debate topic an idiot, as they know the shows are impossible and are simply projecting their beliefs on what would happen if the two fictions met.

i didnt mean the people on this forum's debate topics. I meant some ''debates'' i've seen on other bigger forums. debates made by fanboys for fanboys where everyone seems to think that star wars actually is real/ will be real

Star trek would win in a fight (If either were real). Star wars has lightsabers that are 1m long and lasers that don't do anything against space craft (seriously watch the movies). Star trek has way more stuff. In this case more power = Win

And the chances of star wars coming true in the next 500 years is 1 in 10000000000000000000000. Star trek is slightly more likely to actually happen.

Think about this:
Warp 3 = 3 X speed of light (for this we will say in hours)
Planet 100 light years away = 33 hours to get there.
If you are going to go beacuse you received a distress call. Those people are already dead.

No, star trek cant happen. the only thing that can happen is the colonizing and maybe the enlightenment. But yes, SW has alot less chance to happen. It's probably even impossible.
