What was the signifigance of the battle of thermopalyea?

It gave the armies of the other Greek nations and the rest of the spartan force to prepare for battle.

But if you remember, the Atheneans and many other Greeks were holding festivals at the time of Thermopalae and refused to fight. Therefore the Persians would have been able to pick off cities one by one.

Is Halo a good game or a peice of crap.

For me it is a good game. It has action, suspense (the library for instance), drama (sort of), and plot. You cannot forget the plot.

It's sort of like a movie! (just like half-life 2)

but it isnt as realistic as any of the halfe life, and in fact any valve games.for instance, there isnt a god-modded suit that can survive reentry through an atmosphere and land without even hurting the user, a recharging shield that makes the wearer a complete puffter, and all you do is walk and shoot.and occasionly, fly/drive and shoot.In the Half life games, it is realistic in that the main character wears a plain old hazardous enviroment suit, which only provides limited armour and instead of just walking/driving and shooting, you have tro solve logical problems, like when an elevator is broken in a zombie infested car park and then you have to fix it.and it has a really good storyline/plot.

Critics. *sigh* Too ignorant to see anything of value.
