That event that the Romulans blame Earth, when they loss contact with their allies in the nebula and sent a fleet to know what happened, were the Vexxiangs responsible for that?

I think that the Vulcans decided to peacefully separate from the Empire. There wasn't a single shot fired between the EE and the Vulcans.

In canon the Vulcans never splited up from the Earth Government (in that case, the federation).And I was talking about the history told in BMI.
