Continuing BMIII
After I got clearence of Darkwing, and he posted the BMIII source code, I am going to continue his work...
And this is not a joke of a drunk (like getmeabeer did), this is real... I spent the free times in the last 2 days studying the fla, and I will start editing it wednesday...
Primary goal is:
Ending conquest mode
Secondary goal:
Finishing campaign (after a lot of flash study)...
Wish me luck and gave me your blessons....

It was a joke about your name, "Get me a beer", and still thanks...
Re: Continuing BMIII
so, you're now a mod of the bm3 sections, and if you need my help with stuff, let me know, maybe i can make a private section for that sort of thing
Re: Continuing BMIII
No, it isn't needed... If I need something I would pm it... unless you want to start making internal releases to the beta testers...
Re: Continuing BMIII
Well its good to see that BM3 may actually get finished.

you KNOW it's suicide to post a password hint to a forum infested with hackers, right?Leach54 wrote:I have Ben watching closely. I have never had an account until 10min ago. I am now joining the effort. I will post in 1 week when i have mastered flash code. I am here 4 u.

2 things. My password has, to put it simply and i don't want to type the number 1.17674x10^53 (I did not use a calculator).
Other thing I would appreciate it if u knew the proper terminology: Hack= To change a physical devise like an iPod or Gameboy to fit your needs. Like making a Zune a portable storage device.
Crack= what u r talking about. editing a login or using someone's internet.
Is this clear now.

Re: Continuing BMIII
Yes, unfortunately if you look it up on the internet it is confused so often that the internet is wrong. Some dictionarys are wrong.Darkwing wrote:i think somebody was just owned!

do you come from the land of opposites? because you're just totally being a moron if you aren't.Leach54 wrote:Hack= To change a physical devise like an iPod or Gameboy to fit your needs. Like making a Zune a portable storage device.

To hack: To use all methods available to achieve a certain goal: access to one's computer, (or WIFI) destroying things, (sites, like DJ once did) making the youtube logo on the official site say 'jewtube' etc.
To crack: To use a ploy to use a computer program in a way originally unintended. EG: advanced cheating in games, stolen software.
besides, who needs to guess when we can find out?

Re: Continuing BMIII
To "Crack" I think means to bypass the computer system placed in the site to defend it. As in he can crack into his neighbors computer.

Re: Continuing BMIII
Crack - To break into a computer system. The term was coined in the mid-80s by hackers who wanted to differentiate themselves
from individuals whose sole purpose is to sneak through security systems. Whereas crackers sole aim is to break into secure
systems, hackers are more interested in gaining knowledge about computer systems and possibly using this knowledge for playful
pranks. Although hackers still argue that there's a big difference between what they do and what crackers do, the mass media
has failed to understand the distinction, so the two terms -- hack and crack -- are often used interchangeably.

Re: Continuing BMIII
I only steal from EA, i dont want to help that monster eat more succesfull but small game designers. And i download games that arent for sale anymore, i mean, no one is losing anything because i couldnt have paid for it anyways. But i pay for all the good games made by good game companys ( the companys that dont bombard you with DRM, ironicly, DRM actually just gives people a reason to steal the game and it gets cracked in a day or two anyways), if they sat there and programmed something for a year and a half, they deserve to get some recognition and payment for it.

What I learned was that Hackers are the ones who build the internet... Who build things for the comunity (like you DW)...
Cracker are usually 16-year-old teenagers who only enter on other computer systems for fun...
