Wow, thanks very much for the new section Darkwing! This really helps clear up the plug-in spot! Hopefully in the near future I'll be making plug-ins for this mod too, like various alternate universes and such XD

Big update! I've completed the ships, stations, weapons, and (I think) all of the sound effects. You can see all of the stations by a planet with a government similar to the sci-fi they're from (for example: the Jupiter Station by a Starfleet planet). Planet names haven't been made yet, but egh... Romulus is of Babylon 5, Earth is of the Rebel Alliance, Cardassia is of the Galactic Empire, Qonos is of Stargate Command, Blender is of the 23rd century Starfleet, Vulcan is of Starfleet (modern 24th century), Ferenginar of Battlestar Galactica, and Vex (I think) of the Terran Empire. There are other races, but you'll have to find them yourself. New Switzerland, btw, is still the homeworld of the Independents.
I added the Andromeda and Talax ships, but everyone is welcome to submit sprites for ships from sci-fis not included in the game yet. Please refrain from suggesting ships of a sci-fi already included. I already picked out the seven ships for each, so yeah... 23rd century Starfleet has only 4 ships (due to limitation of space, but I don't mind, I'm just making a mod right now, not an entire game)
So here it is! The Alpha version! Keep all negative comments out of any thread about my game, as this is merely an alpha version insofar, and I'm mainly focusing on the gameplay and music/sound effects. If you'd like to help out with making the game look good and flashy (I'm primarily talking to you, Raffitz!) then raise your hand and PM me! By the final version, I'm hoping the title screen, menu, and HUD will all be very different. But I need someone to design those for me. The sprites are also currently in their alpha form. If Raffitz would like to, I'll send him the link to the .fla file to help. Raffitz, send me a PM if you want and I'll reply with the link ^^

Yay! =D I hope you guys enjoy it! I caught a few bugs, but I'm not entirely sure how to fix all of them. One's a sprite bug I'm working on for one of the Independent's battleships, but other than that... There's a thread for bug reporting. And I welcome any help with bugs! I'm still very inexperienced with flash compared to Darkwing and Raffitz! *worships*

Hehe, thanks... Well, here's the latest update. Not much to report on it, except that I finally fixed a few of the ship and station sprites and I'll be editing it around later today more. Consider this Version 0.2 (or as the filename says 1-1) This time it comes in a nifty RAR file to speed up the upload!

You have a limited number of downloads on the trial version of WinRar. You probably just don't download .rar files very often.

Er, yeah... I only used the RAR file format cause it uploads a lot faster than ZIP files and I'm afraid my computer can crash at any moment, and I definitely didn't want it doing that in the middle of uploading >>;

Phew, I know it's been a long time, all! I've been working on English and Linear Algebra (speaking of which, if anyone could help me with it, I'd appreciate it! PM me) so my schedule has been full for the past few weeks. But I'm going to continue the FlashTrek mod today! Maybe even get it completed so you can all enjoy the final product! Right now, I'm programming the planets in the plug-in, and I'm not sure about the HUD and such yet. I'm not into 'fancifying' games myself, but I'd be glad if somebody volunteered!
Anyways, if any of you need me to resend you certain files like the sprites (for Raffitz) and such, then just let me know. I'll do my best to send you stuff so you can help out! But, I'm doing the plug-in stuff, and it will be done in maybe a week if I have time... That's 5 days, not 7! There are a lot of planets though, so I'm going to have to be careful. Also, I'll be making a few modifications of certain stats (like of the ships and weapons), mainly because I've received several complaints that the BSG's weapon is too weak. There's also a problem with a sound effect in the game, I think, which I have yet to get to. If anyone finds any bugs, remember to report them in the Bugs Report!

Well, I hope i'm able to remember this stuff.
It's a good thing I have kept all of my math notes since Pre-Algebra.

I hate math, as it's my worst subject XD But, if you could help, that'd be great! I'm asking around on Yahoo Answers for tutoring in this stuff, because the program I'm using to learn it all from isn't actually TEACHING me anything. It does a 'trial and error' thing, and then never gives me an exact explanation as to how I arrived to a totally random conclusion.
Anyways, let's keep this in another section on the General boards. I'll start asking questions there if there are any math wizards here XD
I'm starting back to my FlashTrek mod work! First, comes the planets and then comes the fancifying (that's my term for 'making the game look pretty and flashy') which I have absolutely no plans or ideas on XD But soon, SOON it shall be mostly finished! (I'd still have to do the most dreaded part of the plug-in process, making stations around the planets, testing their y-x positions, and the stuff they sell... I usually end up making slight typos in the station plug-ins that destroy the whole thing >>; )

Yeah, editing individual stations is a bit buggy... for one you can't have more stations than there are in the original( there must be a way around it, just I don't know it.)
