Dreams - About School

Now, it's been a couple of years since I've been in school, but I still have dreams about being late to class, failing tests, sneaking out of school, getting caught sneaking out of school, having sex in school, getting caught having sex in school, having sex at school with people at my work, having sex at work with people from school, etc. (I know WTF @ the last 1 right?)

Also, it's typically a mesh between all grades of my schooling. I could be in my elementary school building one moment, middle school the next, high school after that, and then at a vocational school. (Please note that this does not mean that I dream about having sex with elementary school children. LOL)

So, is this normalish (normalish, meaning common to the people of the forum)? Anyone have similar dreams?

Yeah, and I had a dream that I was shopping at the store with one of my patients, while texting my ex-GF on an IPad. (It was a nightmare because of the IPad. Plus, who texts on an IPad? BAH! Makes no sense.)

I find ipads are the most stupedist things ever! Ok i have an Ipod touch 4th gen so it can pretty much do anything a phone can minus 3G calls/texts and the great thing is it's pocket sized. Why would anyone want to buy something the most probally already have be it a phone or ipod and make it 4X larger, there also much more obvious for theives.

Well I had a nightmare that involved Alma last nigh and I'm still looking up for the reason... Oh wait thats because I've spent last night playing FEAR 3! Very Happy

But yeah, it's a dream, they've no realistic meaning... Maybe is some supressed fantasy of yours...

Dreams are a lot more than just fantasies JPB and they most times do involve realistic meanings and events. Dreams are in short your brain processing while it's in it most open state

Hmm... Didn't know that... What I did know was that the dreams placed the brain in a state where it would be easier to consolidate what the person learnt during the day before... (And at the same time repaired the damage made during the day)...

It does that and more. The dream state is when your mind does everything, it goes through solving problems, running scenarios and uses data collected throughout essentially your lifespan to help with future events. Ever solve an unsolvable problem in your sleep? Happens a lot more than you would think because this is one of the functions of the dream state

Well, I know that when I'm lucid dreaming, I don't have sex. There's always someone that stops me. For me, it's always an old person, or a little child that walks into the room right before I'm about to get it on, and then I'm like ****! Now I can't ****!

As for solving problems, I know what you mean! I remember back in school, when I couldn't figure out a certain math problem, I slept on it, and I got the answer in my sleep. The brain is indeed amazing. A whole other universe, so to speak.

Well, in my lucid dreams, my emotions seem to be amplified. So, guilt is more intense, and so are most of the other emotions.

Hence, I would feel guilty if I had sex in front of a child. And, the old people that see me, are always of religious significance.
