Strange Dreams

So. Last night, in this dream, Im on this ship filled with a bunch of blue robots that use spears and swords and whatnot. Im dressed like one. Theres this prison break going on, and the prisoners are just dressed up like goths and emos and punk kids. I end up fighting my way through the ships corridors, killing a bunch of blue robots and ending up in this concert room, where this emo band, AFI, starts playing this rock version of a Colony Wars song from their soundtrack. And I end up fighting a dragon! A freakin dragon, in a concert room, on a spaceship, filled with blue robots. Crazy, no? Anyways, I kill the dragon at the end by throwing this spear into its neck just as their song ends. Everyone cheers at me, then the band start playing one of their hits, and Im next to this old man whos complaining that the band sucks, something along the lines of "durned emo kids," or something like that. I woke up about 5 seconds later.

Anyone else have any strange dreams theyd like to share?

And btw, I see that dream as a fight between your old and new self. I don't remember a crazy dream but if I remember one I'll let you know.

AFI plays this song in the dream, except when they play it, its not orchestral. Like, at all. They use electric guitars, bass guitars, and synthesizers and all that other fun stuff punk rock bands do.

(AFI doesnt use Synthesizers most of the time, but two of the members of the band did this project called Blaqk Audio, which is the lead singer singing and one of the other members [I think the guitarist] doing synthesized instruments. Im more of a casual fan of both, but my sister is the one who is really into them.)

Hmm, I still don't know the title, but I don't think I have that song.

If you had that exact same dream...Then we are either somehow subconsciously linked, or its pure coincidence. Or just weird. However, the chances of that seem astronomical to me.

i once had a dream where i was trying to jump off a cliff but kept failing then it turned into my school where i kept trying to run away from someone in a white limo, now that was weird

I had this one dream like 2 years ago (the last one that I can actually remember having!) where I was on a train that was on a track over the ocean. It started rolling over and stuff while still staying on the track (like a roller coaster) and then it fell off and went into the ocean upside down. I only remember this because I fell off the bed and hit my head on my nightstand and woke up. It was fun.

Do any of you have those dreams where you feel like you're falling down and then you wake up? It's like you jumped up in bed and then fell on your back. It's kinda weird O_O Like, you wouldn't have the strength to just somehow jump while lying down.

Yeah, I've had a few of those. Almost like a flinch by your subconscious because it thinks you really are about to die.

@Bob I have never had (or dont remember having) a dream like that. Ive heard a few of my friends have, they say they're quite weird.

It is dude. You must be one of those weird people that actually stay still and don't move while they sleep. Weird kid.

i sometimes feel like im falling, and wake up. anyway, i once had this dream where i was in some sort of building and in the center there was this pool of murky red water(not blood) where me and many other teenagers had to try and drown each other, like a gladiator arena. i must have advanced, because they took me to this prison cell where i was being held. i tried to make a break for it, probably because im not a strong swimmer(but how the hell did i not drown? ) there was a secret exit behind the sink, im running for my life and i almost make it, but the guards catch me and lead me back to my cell, where im being beaten, then i wake up. that happened about 4 months ago.

my uncle said he had a dream where the government had taken over the world and he was part of a last resistance team, and they were in battle and he died protecting his leader.

everyone has the falling dream, thus it being somewhat important in the movie Inception
