DOF Survey

Ok, so before I close the game, I want to learn some information. Now before you answer the poll, you must check out the site now, because it's gone through changes and I want this based on current information. So please, you won't hurt my feelings, therefore you don't need to check off "Don't Have Time" when in fact you do or could make time, but it's that you don't want to play for some other reason. Multiple votes are allowed

I do want to play, and under the reasons i was banned (for wanting revenge) i appologise, i have been having some complications in my life and i have wanted to vent at some certain people, and the best way was in game, were it wouldent really hurt them, i hope you understand that . (im trying to publicly appologise to you dw)

Yeah, I understand why you can't play anymore, that one's my doing, but this is mainly for those who are inactive by their own choice

I wonder if more people would play if they didn't have to calculate anything and if it were more visual?

You can do that if you make things like a website... If you need help handling the JavaScript and the PHP, just warn me

Well I'm downloading the Flash CS5 trial. Using PHP and stuff requires your own server and whatnot and that's just too complicated for me

yeah, right... Forgot the "detail" of the webserver... and if you had a permenent pc turned on and a good bandwidth, that problem could be solved in no time...

But I don't, so I'm gonna see where flash takes me

I have no idea. What I aim to do is pretty much eliminate the need for a user to have to do math. So for instance, if they do transport, they just select the appropriate ship(s), the current location and the destination and then flash calculates the time and gives a countdown or something

Sounds right... and then, they screenshot the flash document, or they copy/paste the stuff?

for ship battles you could have a flash game were you put the ships and they fight, and you get points and stuff leading to the conclusion of the combat.

Problem is where it's multi player, you need to call and return and refresh so that the two players can fight

i dont have enough time and would like to focus the RP time i do have on the DW RPG.

Just for clarification, the "Would play but don't have time/feel like reading the rules" means that you don't have time to read the rules or don't feel like reading the rules, not that you would play but don't have time to, that's what option 1 is
