Minecraft Beta Server

So, i play minecraft and i know some of you do to, so i thought i would post this here.

So i finially got alpha the day before it went into beta, thats fine and all, (Beta lags like hell btw)

But i wanted more than singal player beta, and i thought, well there is a multiplayer button, so i was like, OMG i need a beta server (i have an idea for it wich is really cool)

So i got a friend from the Reddit.Com Server (The owner of the server) to see if he can put a beta server on his friends Virtual Privet Server (Or whatever its called) And he was like, i would need to put java on it, so i need to ask. (I will know tomarrow)

So if this works, i will post the Server IP so you can log onto it if you like my idea.

I wanted to make a village, i would lead this village, but everyone would have jobs, like miner, lumber jack, black smith, you name it, you would need to make a house and all that, it would be really cool (Keep in mind this is a BETA server not FREE) It would be for people who are seriouse about this, monsters (if possilbe) will be turned off for the beggingin of the game and would be turned back on later in the game, its just so that we dont all die in the beggining, cause that would suck......

So anyway, once i find out i will post if its a go or a no, but i want opinions on this idea, i already have 2 people from the Reddit.Com Server who would play it, but i want more

(If beta lags for you atm its because Notch edited it and it made it slow, but he is fixing it, i hope, his twitter says he is )

Well i have alpha but i havent payed for it so i can't log on.

I have beta, i bought it in alpha. So yeah if anyone thinks this is a good idea and you can actually play it, tell me, i will put the ip up if it works.

I already have a leader for the village militia and i have another person who is undecided, i will need alot of people tho.

how did a game with 95 Graphics, become so damn popular in 2010, that makes no sense

Its cheap, it kicks ass, and it runs on old computers, no um actually it lags like hell on my windows 2000 and this computer was cutting edge at the time these graphics and style would have been out, it only runs on my sisters vista, and it runs on my mothers xp, but its still slow, it even lags on the vista.

The Beta server is up however i can not activly give out the IP for the server, i will only give it to a select few people, people i know i can trust and wont spam the server, if you are interested PM me, as i am only gonna PM the server IP to people i trust, I DO NOT WANT IT PASSED OUT, IF I FIND IT HAS BEEN PASSED OUT I WILL CHANGE THE IP AND BAN YOUR PROFILE.

I am seriouse, the server can only hold 5 people at a time so to not over load it, as its not my server, and the actual owner of the server said if it gets to many people on it he will stop the server from running the beta server.

Then it's kinda a weak server. Have you posted already the specs of the server?

Its not weak, im just not allowed to compleatly use the server, it can run a 50 person minecraft server at full capacity, wich is alot, the best minecraft server i have seen so far is like 50, so yeah, and it can do it without lag, 50 people mc servers usually habe lag

But im not allowed to use it because its being used for other stuff to.
