Congratulations, this is your invitation to the beta test for Blizzard Entertainment’s StarCraft® II: Wings of Liberty™! Join us for the final weekend of testing!



You are receiving this email because you attended a special Blizzard Entertainment event, participated in a related contest or promotion, or have otherwise been selected to join the beta-testing process. This email contains your beta key along with instructions on how to get started.



Both the PC and Mac versions of the beta client are now available. Simply select your preferred version when you go through the installation process outlined below.



This beta key can only be used once by you to upgrade a Battle.net account to participate in the beta test, and it must not be traded or sold.



As a beta test participant, you’ll have the opportunity to experience the multiplayer gameplay of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty and explore the social-networking, matchmaking, and other new features of Blizzard Entertainment’s revamped Battle.net® online-gaming service. Throughout the StarCraft II beta test, you’ll be able to take part in cooperative and competitive battles as the terrans, protoss, and zerg -- and at the same time, you’ll be helping test the stability of the Battle.net service and fine-tune the game balance prior to launch. The developers look forward to hearing your feedback and seeing you on Battle.net!

I will play it lots, and then buy it when it comes out.

I will try not to steal your computer and code, then arrange for you to be taken to siberia so no one will know of it. I can't promise anything though.

it says i also need your charater name and character code to add a friend. i must warn you, i suck terribly.

it also has this feature that records any game you play and you can watch the whole thing again and see what you did wrong or what the enemy did at any point in the game. or play an epic battle scene that you want to show off.

@ alka: i applied at their website like five months ago, and have like two of their games registered to my account.

Ahah! It only took me one week! And I have 0 games registered! xD

The beta ended last night while i was at work.
So i only got like 7 games in.
They like to torture people.

Oh well, only a week left till i get it. For good.

It's today! TODAY TODAY TODAY!

Anyway, huuuh... I got into the beta for 3 months... But in the final fase (the one you entered), i made something like 22 games (one in a 39" LCD! )

7 years in the making, apparently.

The most awaited game of the decade! Beautifull!

I'm presuming you have to pay for this. How much do you need to fork out per month?

just 60 dollah (U.S) like a normal game and no monthly fee.

Yeah...thats what so many other companies have said....and abused.

Hahaha...Yeaaaah, we'll see how you like it after going through ''crunch time'' for a month or two.

And when you get the salary cheque... The publishers get to keep all the money, while giving scraps to the studio, and the studio in turn gives scraps to it's employees.
