Windows 7 Empty Windows 7

Post by Destral 2010-09-05, 02:55

Yep, upgraded my supercomputer to Windows 7 just today. If anyone else has it, can you give me some insight to it, is it the same as/better than Vista or XP or any other OS youve used?

Much better then vista and provides a new GUI and file indexing system for windows. It also increased user custom ability. Now much difference in performance except for better 64bit support.

Well from my limited point of view (Since the school i got mine from has so many dam locks on the computer that i should proribly try to stop shutting them off.........)

Anyway, from my limited point of view, its the same as vista.........

though the paint feature is much better....lol..........

the applications are all the same, like they are difforent, but you still have the standard applications.

Paint
Sound Recorder
Solitair
Ect.

Works well.....i am still not used to the speed of it, lol........i am used to windows 2000......cant get used to the insta load......

Its good.

Haha, yea, Im definitely noticing a difference (and a good one at that). I really like how the bottom taskbar is arranged somewhat like a Mac/Rocket Dock, save for there's no icon zooming in when you hover the mouse over it. Just a little arrow. Still its pretty nifty. I like it Very Happy

the only thing i hate about Win 7 is aero, it drains your battery, and doesn't even look good.
