$3700 Can Buy You Life

So it looks like the first 3D TV has hit the market. Now I know that the technology isn't quite perfected yet, but I just looked at the TV's specs and it's really cool. Between being able to connect to the net to watch TV, it converts 2D to 3D, plus a whole bunch of other things.

It's only $3700.

Yeah. So how long, 5 years before it's under 2 grand you think?

When it gets under £500, I'll consider it.

When there are decent programs and films to go with it, and it's cheaper, I will be slightly tempted.

To be fair, it does convert 2D to 3D.

It depends... If it's real that good, I would... If it does happen I get headaches from seeing 3D pictures, I won't...

well, i'd wait for the tech to get perfected, but this TV does do some cool things like watch internet TV and stuff

so does the Sony Bravia Internet TV... and costs half of that If I'm not mistaken...

It isn't 3D... And I don't even know what are those cool thingies....

ill consider 3d Tv when we can watch it without the glasses. im almost blind without my regular glasses on...

Meh, internet TV is utterly useless, but the 3D, now that's interesting. Though untill it becomes hologram like, i'll stick to my ''It's a revived gimick'' theory.

Color made a huge difference, 3D as it is now is just an extra. And besides, the same thing that's happening with 3D now has happened a few times before, just not on a similar scale. But this time actually stick...
