Im getting pumped up for watching the series, so I thought I'd do something akin to Battlestar Galactica.

And another test shot.

Im doing a logo for a friend, here is WIP shot 1.

Three more updates before I release the full video.

A work in progress, I am going to try to recreate Robert Wilde's Warp effect the best I can in 3ds Max and Adobe After Effects. Credit goes out to DJ Curtis for the fantastic USS Pegasus. This is test shot 1.

Here's the finished logo for a friend. I'm not entirely content with it, so I might re-do it, especially with the deflector glow on the Nebula Class.

And another project is in the works, starring the USS Walker, a Post-Undiscovered Country Akula-Class vessel.

MOAR WING COMMANDER!

Taking a break from Wing Commander stuffs, here's a few shots from Red Squad Episode 3, starring my new torpedo effectz!

This has to be quite possibly the coolest animation Ive ever done. Its also a tease for anyone following Red Squad.

Using the 3ds Max Particle systems, I believe I have found an even cooler way to make phaser effects.

Probably the coolest effect I have made. Like, ever!

It has alternate textures for the Aventine registry.

wow...that model sure doesn't do the original justice. There needs to be a high detail version of that ship out there cause it is literally one of the best trek ships I've seen

I believe there's already another being made.

The Federation has set up a new spacedock! (Actually, I found a new model of it to mess with.)

He's getting very good with his animations. I have the advantage of seeing the new bit to Red Squad in which a battle has begun and I'll say he's even impressed me

from the one episode of Red squad and few screen caps I've seen, his animation skills are amazing.

yeah, he's definitely improved since the early days. And Act 2 of Episode 3 proves it

I just wish i had a better computer so the vids he posts would play smoothly.

it looks fine to me, gives the sense that the ship is coming at you because it's still in the distance, has to go somewhere

who says they always have to be green? think outside the box a bit vedic, especially with a non-canon fan series, he's got creative liberty here

I like grey, i didn't say it was a bad color, i just found it odd.

I love how camera flares used to be a sign of bad camera handling and now they're used to make footage look more "real." But society aside, awesome!

Yeah, I've thought the same about the flares. personally I was always a fan of them
