Do you have a suggestion for another 3d starbase model?

Sadly not, but that open top Landing Pad Dock, is just a really bad concept, every one needs to be in an EV suit or Work bee, to work on the ship(they would usely, but now it's more dangours), if the Star base were to be attacked, there's no were for them to retreat to, and I doubt if there was a shield covering them, it would't hold up long in a fight.

Then there's the fact if you look at windows, it looks like she has about 6 Decks, for a station bigger than DS9 ( she had 200 and something decks).

Feel free to still use the Starbase (not like I can stop you), this is just my "I just woke up, three hours earlier than normal, so I'm lil Cranky, I don't like this thing rant." .... or something like that.

But yeah, when I'm an detail freak, I gotta point of the flaws in something. ... this is a really long post, for saying, "No I don't have any suggestions." /end

I dunno why the Empire still uses the K'tinga-Class instead of much better Vor-Cha-Class Cruiser.

Perhaps the KTinga could match the Sovereign if she were, say, armed with illegal phased plasma torpedoes brought aboard by the Romulan crew responsible for the ship's capture?

Heres another test of Specular Bloom and Light Smear. The effects are hopefully a little cleaner.

Now add dirty lens effect and I think it'll be beyond friggin awesome! Definitely loving this look though!

Im definitely taking this route with all the shots in Episode 4. Maybe Ill tweak up a few of the renders Ive already done (like my Alpha Centauri Render) with these effects. Oh man, I can just picture people going nuts.

Yeah, I can't wait to have Pegasus' bridge textured and lit so you can do all kinds of cool post work to it!

Is it me, or dose the Normandy look...Small, that Field she's under, doesn't look more than 30-50 meters, she's atleast 350.

I just looked it up. For one, no one really knows, but the rough estimation is that the SR1 is about 75 meters in length. If it helps, 350 would be close to the size of the original Enterprise, a ship that housed 400 crew members and I was always under the impression the Normandy didn't carry 400 crew members...
