not really a bug but just dont move your mouse the custom sprite canbe bought at terra nova one of the derece platforms

well if you can save you plugins made whit the editor , then is useless because you will need to edit every time before loading a game or thing will be a little weird

here is a thing to think about : if you can`t save the things made whit the game editor , but the game saves , and you made some huge modification , when you close the game all your work goes to the void , you need to make saves for the modification that will be saved alongside whit the saved games .

i personnaly dont like the editor whenever i used it i always felt like i was cheating so im hesitant to make it so things can be saved

to add to that im not really sure there is a way to save changes because your editing the code that always loads at the start so as soon as you load the game again the edits are lost

you can make the modification to load whit the saved games as variables , and load them just like a plugin , i don`t have experience in flash to do this because all i done in flash was simple , but someone whit more experience can make it work , i know that theoretically this is possible.
and you can edit the saved games to all bm games not just bm I .

i made the editor so that it could save. that was like two years ago of course, but it would save. for it to work i believe you needed to create a new game, but once you did, the mods you did in the editor were always there. now like i said, it's been two years since i was fiddling around with the editor and BM2, but it can be done

i havent got any stats in the editor as they were loading off the preloader screen which is probably what the problem is i need to change all the names in the code

ahah, ok, i know your problem. for the editor to work, in the scene that you have the editor, you need to paste the plugin stats at the begininnig, there is an order but it's difficult for me to explain. if you could just send me a fla, i could fix it for you., but what version of flash are you using?

oh, crap. ok guess i'll have to try and explain. in vex's original editor, there were some frames in a scene at the beginning which contained the plugin texts. copy those frame and paste them at frames in front of your editor, but do not create a new scene for the texts. you need the texts in the order that vex has them as i believe that is also important. next, replace those texts with the ones you created n the preloader scene, but keep them in the same order as vex's.

the editor no doubt will still be buggy, but it should be able to save, there might be one other thing too, but i'll wait to see if it works first

when you click save, arrgh, i need to see the code to be able to help, i'm sorry. see there are tings that i know to look for, but it only came about from experimenting and for me to get it to work, i would need to do it myself. afterwards, I could then tell you how to do it as I'm using CS4 and therefore can't export to MX

well the entire editor cause a problem you can see this because when you try to load a plugin or go to the option screen the sam ething happens

well, i resasterized the type and then took the mask tool and cut out the distortion, so it should be better now
