Gah! Update on what im doing with my time

So i saw the topic "A cool project im doing." and decided i would post what stuff I'm doing. cool or not. There are two purposes to this topic. As many of you have probably not noticed I am approaching the grand 1000 post mark. Now you may (or may not) be asking "What! He has been a member for nearly 695 days, how can he only have 971 posts!"

The second reason for this post is to let you all know that I'm still around, how ever slow I may be.

A lot can and has happed in the last 2 years. As a matter of fact it feels like it has been much much much longer then that. So i suppose to get the full effect we should start at the beginning. (By now your saying "Oh God, Please don't recap everything. Don't worry. To recount everything would take nearly as long as it took to write the history in the first place. I don't have 695 more days to spend doing that. ) I have been reading the forum for nearly a year before I registered. When i joined i felt like i had to make an impression. So i began a short series i called "Leaches Funnies" here are some links.

EEK! I just went through to find those links and stumbled into some memories. Good and Bad.

There were (in my mind) several periods where i left because i was disenchanted or just wasn't interested anymore. ANYWAYS... My life here may be slow but it is good.

Fast foreword. Present day. I am working on a Python program to analyze and compare many sequences of DNA. This is an extra credit project in my class and I'm actually very exited to be working on it.

SO. Thats what I'm doing and some more about me. Remember, I'm still here and i have been for many moons.

I remember when i first joined, i actually think i joined after you did, and i reached 1,000 before you did, lol, but thats because im an annoying, spamming my projects, pest

No, no C or any of its derivatives. But i think i will be taking college classes starting next year. Im sure that will be in there somewhere.

My memory of amino acids is kinda sketchy, but I still remember most of the stuff about DNA.

Actually i usually dont. Its just that i have been taught to, I also usually dont Annotate at all but this was partly for a job. I just try and follow a few of the PEP 8 guidelines and people say "Gee that looks nice"

I bookmarked it. Most of that stuff I already know, like the don't mix tabs with spaces rule, but the rest of it was quite interesting.
