this is just a little update to show you guys whats going on with bm2

is he the main person working on BM2 now?

i think he's the only person working on it

oh yeah, MNIM got banned. he wasnt doing much anyway.

i dont know if mnim is working on it, but is that flash code thing working?

use an html embed, it works better

well i downloaded and i play it offline

yeap it looks nice and i asked for the source code first , for a new game ( not related to BM)

i dont know about the editor im still trying to pin point where the problem lies as far as i can see there just shouldnt be one ill try and ask vex about it

well i would really like to see it completed finally. it'll get a full release here whenever it's ready.

I can see you've added new planets and sprites too. That deserves major respect.

i should actually try and play this. i never wait long enough for it to load

i have ALL the flash trek bm versions and this is a nice add , i like to play them offline no need to wait for the game to load .

yeh but to do that you have to get firefox and then get the adon that allows you to download anything

no you don't, i've done it without firefox

i have have Firefox and and have done it whit out that addon

and i've done it with explorer

ive only managed to do it with firefox, probably becuase i hate explorer

i hate I.E. any game is better whit Firefox or Opera , because they are better in terms of security and firefox is fully customizable and is compatible whit many systems

And Opera (faster, simpler) for my dad.

vex wasnt the one that put in the editor, it was DW. but if anyone could help you, it probably would be vex.

I would recomend (as anyone else did) to put the editor in another part and then make it as a seperate file, which allows you to make automatic plug-ins that can later be loaded...

i would have apsolutely no idea how to do that though i dont even know how to work plugins. yet i can mod a game in flash with ease

I hit a snag immediately...kind of a big one...you see, i started a new game as the romulans...and i can't move....

I can turn and such, but the ship will not move forward :S

On top of that, it wouldn't let me hail Romulus....despite me being 100% prestige with it...

So, a little buggy

yep problem with the xport, in which efectted all the actionscript broke, so im starting again from the 1.7 dont worry it wont affect the release date
@ edit completely overestimated the size of the problem all i need to do was re expot using action script 1.0 and flash player 6 well
but i did improve editor and work out that bm2 does not have an editor problem but a plugin problem

nice to know that you won`t start from the beginning , and the problem that foofong1 is talking about , if you want to experience it just start a game whit a station as you ship .
