Well if your stuck for ideas, make it after a game or film.
Or maybe even about your films.

i'm not stuck for ideas, i wanted you guys' input into if you wanted a game, if so what did you want

well so far the only good ideas are..none.

my main thing is just to see if people want me to make a game from scratch due to my lack of completing BM3

A partly open ended RPG, i mean, imagine the possibilities. And you could even upload it on kongregate and win a few hundred bucks

I think most people want you to do BM3, but seeing as they've only just found out you're not, are slightly gobsmacked.

hmm maybe something SW? (not a lot of good sw flash games)

i'm kinda liking the open ending thingy, though i don't know if flash can do that. but something with maps would be cool, and maybe characters, and other characters that you interact with and stuff

so sort of a stick arena type game, but where you can interact with other npcs and fight npcs? sounds pretty cool!

Yeah, have a look at fallout 3, it should provide a good gameplay model. There's alot of exploration, story etc. You should be able to find something on google. If not, i could help you come up with it.

well, there'd be more of a point then just fighting, trading perhaps, diplomacy I don't know, the possibilities are quite wide

Fallout 3 would be good for that then.it has most elements you want in an RPG

exactly, and some extra like deep story. You really should rent it and have a deeper look at it. I think you could use the story for your game too, but with modern themes instead of 50's

is it for pc, well, i never play games anyways, maybe i'll just look up the synopsis on wiki or something

the synopsis isnt really the story, it's the enviroment and the people. It's not really your normal RPG so i guess you'd be better off with someone who has played it helping you with the design.

well, something sci-fi, i mean it could still be a lfash trek game (this is a flash trek forum after all) but it don't have to be, a new universe would be cool to see, like in the new order

fallout 3 was pretty sci fi. Laser rifles, plasma rifles, a gigantic mech, forcefields, mutants. But if not, i guess you could make a star trek RPG. that's never been done before

well, i'd like to avoid flash rip-off, i guess i should make a more appropriate topic for this, come up with story stuffs and things, but the consensus is make a new game? i should make a poll

I think you should start a new game if you will be able to finish it. Nothing to do with how BM3 ended, that wasn't due to laziness or miscalculation, but we don't want another half-finished game, and neither would you, I'd guess. It would annoy the perfectionist in anyone.

...Sorry. I don't blame youi at all for BM3. All I'm saying is that you have a busy time before exams, and at uni you will have far less time for stuff like this.
