Well, pretty much the same... I'm thinking of making some stations, instead of replacing everything with moons.... The only problem is: There is only one canon station - a goa'uld one.... And I will include non-canon stuff, but I really don't know how I'll make cool stations...

I'm sure you can think up designs of stations based on what you know about the ships each species in Stargate uses... Take the Replicators for example. You know it's going to be blue-ish in color and probably very spiky XD Now the Asgards? Hmm... That one would be a bit tougher. But alas, you'll figure it out. I'll try and find some sprites that remind me of a Stargate species' design and I'll post them up here. Basketball

Yes, Jerome, knowing the general characteristics of a race's ships is easy, but designing a brand new space station is totally different, and much more difficult!

Again, Raffitz, I didn't say you had to make any XD I may find some that look similar to an alien species' design, like the Replicators. Then you can just color it and morph it into your cool 3d-style! Basketball

Agreed – we all love raffitz. Raffitz Appreciation Second (RAS) over.

'Kay, back to topic now.

Would it make sense if the only way to leave or enter a system was to use a Supergate (anything bigger than a fighter) or a regular Stargate (for fighters and PJ's) at first, but then at around the Wraith Cruiser or Traveler ship hyperspace could be used?

Umm... No... Only if we reduced each ship's antimatter capability and then they wouldn't be able to go to other systems... But I would prefer to let the ships fly around freely...

Why not have one of those Wormhole Generators be a Stargate, but there are multiple connecting to different places per system (so when you can't afford anything you might still be able to get to one of your own systems without antimatter)

The wormhole generators are Ori Supergates (though the Ori won't be the only race using it).

What you are suggesting is that each supergate can connect to any other supergate in the galaxy... Well, I can't do that... It would take a large and complex piece of code that I can't make...

But you'd have to insert loads of wormholes/gates. I think Raffitz wants only one per planet. and you'd have to make them invunerable that way, which would cause even more problems.

But the problem is then that you'd need to use cheats to take over a planet, as you'd never be able to destroy all stations.

SFTDP
(For those who still don't know, it stands for "Sorry For The Double Post")

So, I haven't done almost anything in flashgate for a while, but today I thought of something interesting to do... I will replace the weapon pics and I will create weapons to fill in the unused slots...
I may also add some "easter egg" stuff...

So, I will do a list here of things to do:
- Fix HUD bugs (The stat bars aren't working properly, I need to reduce their size);
- Plug-in all planets (I've started Earth already)(I will move the planets' positions when I finish each of their plugins)
- Plug-in stations

Oh, BTW, I have an idea: Making Midway station a planet...

Oh, but you don't know about the galaxies stuff yet... I'll explain: I'll add 4 galaxies, and they'll all be in the same map, but: In the top right corner will be the Milky Way; On the lower left corner will be Pegasus, on the lower right, the Ori Galaxy, and on the top left, the Asgard galaxy...

SFTTP

Well, DW released a Beta and Jerome's about to finish WUC... I guess I'll have to start working really hard on FG... But only in weekends, because this trimester I'm going to study a lot harder (my grades were not that good... I had 18 in Maths and English, because the teachers lowered my grades (it was the first trimester after all, I should've had a 19 in both subjects), 16 in Biology/geology (It's a merged subject), which is terrible, as I've always liked the geology part and that was what we talked about last trimester; 15 in Physics/Chemistry (Merged again), which is even worse 'cause I've always been an excellent student in this subject; 14 in Portuguese (The teacher is known school wide for lowering the grades... Mine was one of the best of the class, though... I had 13 in Philosophy, which is normal, as I hate it more than I hated history last year... And I had 13 in PE, which is a surprise, because I was expecting something like 11 or something (Yeah, I really suck))... So, I'm going to do a lot more of class reports (The philosophy teacher just loves it when we make class reports, so, I'm going to make them free-willed)...

Oh, and to make my time shorter, I'm becoming addicted to Second Life... There's something called the Alteran Stargate Network, and I've learned LSL (Linden Scripting Language, I think) (It's so easy... You should try it, DJ...) and I'm making add-ons for those stargates (Custom DHDs, etc...)...

But yeah, I'll try to advance Flashgate's development a lot...
