Most likely. Both are going to increase troop presences in Afghanistan, though.

And guys, don't get excited right now. The electorate college has to vote in December, and that's what really matters. Indirect election, not direct election. We vote for electors of a specific party affiliation who will then vote in December. There's a slim chance John McCain could still win, though we'd probably have civil war if that happened.

On an unrelated note, Russia's pointing nuclear missiles at Western Europe. Cold War v.2 in progress, I suppose.

No, and if people have a problem with that, then that is their misguided opinion. Most people in America think all Islamic people are terrorist, which I find highly stupid. Al Khaida was the terrorist group and they haven't done anything big since the Twin Towers and the Pentagon attacks.

Well, that's the thing. I generally view any fundamentalist group with high amounts of suspicion. America views Muslims the same way communists were viewed 50 years ago; with suspicion, but we should really be focusing on all fundamentalist factions with scrutiny rather than the whole group of religious practitioners.

I agree. I feel kinda bad for some of the middle eastern people living here.

I remember back in middle school there was a girl from Pakistan in one of my classes.

A lot of the kids in the class made fun of her because she was from Pakistan.

They even pushed her over once. (Note: They were all bloody jocks!!!!!)

I also remember how one time I was in line at the water fountain, and she was in front of me.

She immediately stepped aside, and said that I can go first.

I insisted that she should go first anyways, because she was ahead of me, but she didn't listen.

She just turned her head down, and said "it's ok", and then went to the back of the line.

This happened a few other times, with the same results.

WTH?

I guess it's one of those bow to males things that's embedded into their culture. Oh well. Beats me.
