How To Adopt The Uberman's Sleep Schedule
Polyphasic Sleep
Polyphasic Sleep (also known as Uberman's Sleep Schedule) is an alternate sleep pattern. Instead of sleeping through the night in a big chunk of hours, polyphasic sleep spreads out the long night sleep into short naps of 20-40 minutes throughout the day. It is intended to increase REM sleep and reduce sleep time.
Steps
1. Schedule sleep interval. Initially, take five naps per day. For instance, 3am, 7am, 11am, 7pm, and 11pm. There are four naps setup (8am, 4pm, 12am, 4am) and six naps setup (2am, 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, and 10pm)
2. Set initial sleep time. Take 40 minutes nap initially. People have reported success on nap length between 20-40 minutes
3. Do not oversleep. It will ruin your sleep schedule and will fatigue you.
4. Tiredness is normal at the beginning. Your body and brain will struggle to adapt to this sleep pattern. After 7-10 days, your body clock will be adjusted for it.
5. Make Adjustments. Fine tune your sleep schedule and length of nap. Adjust small bit at a time and record results.
Positive Effects of Polyphasic Sleep
1. More energy
2. Change in appetite
3. Extended awake time
4. Reduced drowsiness
5. Able to remember your dreams
6. Able to wake up automatically
7. Endurance in heavy works
Negative Effects of Polyphasic Sleep
1. Slow growth development due to lack of monophasic sleep(bone and height development continue until 20 years of age.)
2. Requires a nap every 4-5 hours
3. Large appetite
4. Malfunctioned body clock (remembering of days and time normally)
5. Sensitiveness in caffeine and high sugar products.

It's funny, because I instead have a small appetite.
I haven't even eaten breakfast today, and I feel fine.

Re: How To Adopt The Uberman's Sleep Schedule
Because it increases my productivity, and I have nothing else better to do than experiment on myself.
Note: I've done this for 2 months in a row in the past. It does get exhausting sometimes.

lol. I prefer the 'sleep deprivation' program more. sleep 5 hours a night systematically. much easier and more endurable.

Re: How To Adopt The Uberman's Sleep Schedule
Actually, i'm turning to semi-nocturnal sleep pattern.
I'm probably going to start today.
I only stayed up until 1:30 A.M this morning, after that, I went to bed. But, I slept on and off durning the day from 8:00 A.M to 1:30 P.M
I'm all set to stay up tonight/tomorrow morning!!!!!!

Re: How To Adopt The Uberman's Sleep Schedule
I wish.
My spiritual life has declined a lot.
I really hate myself for it.
I feel as if I'm going back to my old ways again. I'm going to have to take a few days off for meditation and prayer soon. This life I'm trying to live isn't going to work out in the long run.

I have so many deep regrets when it comes to my relationship with God.
I'm not the Christian I should be.

See, JWs have the highest Christian moral standards.
I feel like half of the things I do aren't up to those standards.

Re: How To Adopt The Uberman's Sleep Schedule
Oh, we aren't bound to the sabbath ritual anymore.
Should I explain?
Note: This could turn into a highly religious topic.
