This isn't as much of a log or journal as it is the thoughts that cross Melly's mind. They may seem jumbled or random, but such is the way with thoughts - how much more so for one of her race. But each one has a purpose and reason for being.

My searching seems to be in vain. All are in hiding. I cannot find the scene...

He speaks what he does not know about. He thinks I can help by being by his side. Yet he also speaks as though he knows. How can he, ageless as he is, refuse to see? So here I am. Perhaps there is something more to this, after all.

It seems I may not have to tell him. I fear something has happened to him to make him see once again. If that is the case...

Perhaps the dawn is finally coming. At what expense is what has me sickened.
