stargate universe

it will replace sga it will start off with a 2 hour movie in january then the sieries will start in about 1 year its about Stargate Universe will take place during the present time, not in the distant future.[4] The show will be "set on a ship that was part of an Ancient experiment" to seed the galaxies with Stargates millions of years ago but that was prematurely ended by the Ancients' ascension. After placing Stargates throughout multiple galaxies, a second ship would follow up and explore.[5] When a team of explorers from Earth find an Ancient unmanned ship called the Destiny and are unable to return to Earth, the crew must fend for themselves aboard the ship as it takes them to the far reaches of the universe.[2] The basis of Stargate Universe is that the ninth and final chevron, the purpose of which was previously unknown, would serve to get to the first ship.[5] The show will involve more space-based action than SG-1 or Atlantis.[2]

Amm..... The previous shows didn't take place on the "distant future".... They took place in the present... Well, the idea is basically the same as Atlantis, but instead of being stranded on a planet, they're on a ship... It kind of sucks...

I would like to see the movie... Cause, for me, it seems to be interesting.

I never said it wasn't interesting, all I said was it was a modified copy of Atlantis...

In fact, it seems little bit like VOY. You all liked voyager, right?

It sounds interesting... And yes, I liked Voyager XD I can see a lot of differences though between it and Voyager. Maybe the main goal is the same, but remember that they would have to face many different alien species and such... Also don't forget that they're not the Federation, and hopefully we'll get to see some more Air Force kick-a** in this! I just saw Continuum... That was more confusing than I thought.

im a little forced to like voyager. its the only trek show i get now.
