Don't count your sociability by how many friends you have, many of my better friends I haven't got on Facebook, I phone them instead. It should be treated as a 'social' counterpart of email, rather than for the chat, partially because the IM is awful. Its main strength is its vast popularity. Why use something like Diaspora when everyone is on Facebook?

MLY is an adept troll who is busy in VX. As far as I'm concerned, he is running several different identities there. However, the VX people are strange themselves and seem to appease him, and the site has no administrators.
I wasn't on the staff at the time, but I believe he, or someone purporting to be him, came here for a short while. Now don't talk on and on about trolls, that's what they want.

And Lee, they would have just banned you because you're annoying. There has been blocking of registration and suchlike, but no retrospective blocking as far as I know.

Yeah, that's what I'm planning to do... Stay faaar away from the games. Like, really fucking far. I love games like farmville (though i prefer them being a little more advanced), you know, games where you have to develop a company or a farm or an evil lair or an empire or whatever. If it has me developing something, I'll probably like it. Also, I'm easily addicted. I'd probably end up losing hours upon hours to that game...

And Lee, you're not particularly annoying, in my opinion. I mean, yeah, sometimes you can be annoying, but it's the same for many of Flashtrek's members, and you're definitely not the worst in recent history.

I can actually meet new people there, i really dont have any friends at my current school. I dont talk to my "best friends" anymore, they got into weed, and that's all they ever talk about or do anymore. they are complete fucking losers now, and some might not even graduate high school, which is pathetic. fat lazy assholes sums them up.

besides that, my school sucks because everyone is labeled. from the moment you first step on school grounds, you fall in groups based on your looks or athletic abilities, and almost nobody else really accepts you. hell, i can get hit on by girls my age or even a little older anytime at work, but here it's just impossible. can't wait to leave.

Sorry to hear that. Yeah, in a small school you get stuck with the same people. Best of luck in uni, remember to join clubs/societies and do something outdoorsy/excercise. It's been a boon to me.
