A cool project im doing.

Ok so i have been working on this forum for a while now, in secret, NO ONE knows about it, here is the geniral idea of it.

Its 2251, the Earth is a Multi Planet Race, Contact with 2 other species has been achieved, the Earth is moving into a new state, however a top secret government project is underway, Project Pegusis is to take 100 people, not educate them and have them be in cryogenic sleep for the first 15 years of their lives, then transport them to the planet Maslon, its an Uninhabited Forest Planet, much like earth used to be, the goal is to create a new earth, with new Humans, to view how we evolved as a people, they would drop the people in 4 groups, each containing 25 people, each on difforent continents. How will it turn out, who will survive, will anyone survive.



So thats the story, the planet is called Maslon, its mostly a forest planet, i has 1 desert, and its north and south poles are not nearly as cold as earth is, just a small chain of islands in each pole, their are 6 continents and 3 oceans,

Now, i need a world map, if anyone is interested, i would prefer someone with great skills in creating it, whoever shall accept has creative freedoms, though i would like you to stay relitivly close to my guildlines, feel free to add islands and what not, lakes and all that, and rivers.

So its ready for yall to play, however, i need a world map, and im only giving the link to a specific few to TEST it out before anything happens.

Those of you who will get a link if you want it are free to pass it onto people you TRUST, as this game is highly classified and i dont want anyone that i cant exspect the best from, hell, i dont want to give myself the link because my standards are to high, lol.

Those are the people i REQUEST to help me test the game for the first week, you can accept or deny it, however if you accept you will probibly get some sort of staff status, or like a special thing for being in the beta test, idk, anyway if all goes well, then by sunday, lol, we can open it, but the schedual is set to open the game to the public on friday, however if the testers play and think its good, i will open it on sunday.

If your on the list and are interested PM me and i will PM you the link, if you are not on the list, get atleast 2 people on the list to vouch for you, and you will get a link.

Nothing personl to anyone who is not on the list, i just know these people enough that i feel i can trust them to keep the link private, lol. Not that i cant trust the rest of you, i just dont know all of you that much.......so i really dont know, yeah this got akward really fast, so yeah.... ending this post now.

sounds cool, ill wait for the public version, and it is best to limit to a few people, are you gonna wait and see how people advance the story themselves, or are you gonna control it on some level?

Kinda both, like you play as you go, but i will have an NPC account that controls to a point, like.

Ok you control your charactor compleatly within the world, lets say, you are a researcher, you can design stuff for your government or village and so forth, but lets say its like the Colonial Era, and you design a Nuclear Bomb, you cant, but like major technilogical advances will be controled, like, um, i dont know how to explain it, if your a researcher, then you can begin researching something, but the NPC controls if you succed or not to prevent one culture advancing in one day. Buts its mostly open ended. Like dw's new roleplay, but just slightly more limited, as this one has a story, eventually it will advance to a period were they discover new worlds and so forth, in the begginign of the game (now) its just sparse colonies.

cool, thanks it sounds like age of empires kinda game where you gotta advance your culture, in this case it looks like it allows for a certain amount of uniqueness unlike AOE, by NPC control, will that include stuff like natural disasters?

To a point, i wont do a natural disaster every other day dont worry, but yes it will, the NPC will control most natural things, however, you can control the weather, like if your roleplaying and it makes it better or even worse for your charactor you can control the weather, the NPC is to a point to prevent Meta Gaming, Ubering, and God Modding.

But yeah every, oh say, atleast every time it starts to die down there will be a natual disaster or the NPC will step in, like small house fires or village fires can be caused by you, and forest fires, but natural things, like natural forest fires, and volcanic eruptions, and earth quakes are all controled by the NPC (me) however i do intend to get someone who is not playing the game to be part of the staff and control that, it all depends on how the beta goes.

Hmmm... Sounds interesting... I'll think about it.
