Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
Make the Background transparent, and it'd be perfect.

Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
You can't make video transparent...well, not video for TVs and stuff and that's the ultimate goal. Besides, transparent is only for like putting on websites and whatnot, and if you made it transparent, what would happen if it were put on say a white website? It would look shitty as hell. By having my own defined background, it ensures it will always look the same

Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
Logos always have backgrounds, at least professionally designed ones. And when you argue that say Coke doesn't have one, I shall correct you and say that the product it's placed on is the background and that it is carefully designed to be incorporated into the logo. Now for some examples:
Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
Think of this logo as a concept drawing for what the animated one is going to look like
Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
I wasn't referring to Animated Logos, but meh.
What type of style are you going for your Animated one?

Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
Not sure yet, something sharp though, something that has anticipation behind it and somewhat dark-ish, but very simple

Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
Plus if your thinking of animating it what about the red background light starts as a slit in the middle and expands revealling the logo.

Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
I actually have more of a shooting rays idea, somewhat similar to the teaser for the Dark Knight
Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
Why not have it be dark, and you hear thunder in the backround, then a red lightning bolt shoots the logo wich makes it light up like that and then it sparks for a second and freezes giving you the final logo, lol
Re: Darkwing Prd Logo
make sure you get the good music behind the animated one.
