how did you create the games,portal,home,search,groups,background, using PHPBB!?!?!?
i am using phpbb for my website and i dont have any of those.

no, no, i designed it myself. stewi designed the old one mostly, though i had a few tweaks that i made. but no, with this design, it was all me! and it was simple, i just used all of the presets in the admin panel! are you using forummotion as your forum provider?

well, actually, for this one though, stewi designed the ranks (and with the last design as well. he is much better with photoshop than i, at least i believe so, but i'm still pretty good with the program.

Oh, and I might note that there's no PHP really involved in the process. That's what the forum administrative editor thingy is for.

No, we'll probably end up changing it in the future. Mabe in a year or so.

We'll probably end up recycling themes.

Or, I might figure out a way to allow the users to choose which theme they want.

In other words, i'll could make it modifiable in the user's profile.

actually i have been to a site where they can pick their own themes for their user's profile.
and how did you get the buttons, the "flash trek home to broken mirror 3" in the middle and a link and so on?

it's the people that host this forum. they have a whole design setup in the administration section. the graphics were designed with photoshop (that means logo, buttons etc) and then uploaded onto forum motions server. then you link the thing that you want to have a graphic and voila! never touched one bit of script! and ye, some forums do allow multiple skins, but this server seems not to have that capabilities
